WOW!! This is one of the MOST POWERFUL podcasts involving LEO's I have watched/heard!! When your guest Dave TEARED UP talking about his son's reaction to him being shot, I teared up as well!! My heart goes out to ALL of you that were at the RAMADA on this day. May Officer French rest peacefully.

Being retired LE i want to thank you guys for doing this podcast. I find myself constantly getting my daily fix of police investigations, shootings, car chases and the like but this is the first one i have seen in a format that is much more descriptive and thoroughly related to the job. I was pleasantly surprised to find you guys are or were in LE so you knew precisely what questions to ask and what format to put it in as it answers the questions cops have on their minds when it comes to these topics. This is the first podcast of its kind and it is perfect and i am totally engrossed in this enough for me to keep saying thank you thank you thank you.

I was in a near fatal accident in march of 2021, I was T-boned by a woman who was speeding with bad breaks. My truck rolled and flipped 30+ feet and landed in a ditch. My surgeon and other Dr's in the hospital said I shouldn't have made it out of my truck alive. I almost bled to death on the way to the hospital, I kept losing consciousness on the way and i don't remember much about the 3 hours in the ER. I understand what you felt when your kids walked in and your son asking if he could hug you. I understand not being able to sleep more than an hour or 2 at a time. I understand the PTSD and how it effects you. I realize I wasn't shot and I didn't lose a coworker and friend, what you went through was different, but the aftermath is similar. My heart breaks for that deputies family, friends, and co-workers. Thank God for sparring your life!! 🙏🙌🙌❤️

I really like the part that you should not drink when your down, but drink to celebrate. If you do like to have a drink this is the best advice for anyone in a stressful profession. Keep up the good work guys. I just started watching your pod cast and I am hooked. I have found myself in some pretty hairy situations and I am still here!

Just discovered you guys the other day randomly scrolling thru videos on the For You page and seen the video about the active shooter at the transit station. Been watching different episodes since. Really enjoy the first hand encounters being detailed by the person/persons involved

Officer Dave thank you for sharing your life changing story. My partner was shot twice during a barricade with a armed wanted 187 pc suspect. It was a scary and chaotic critical incident. RIP to your partner that did not survive.

Here's an idea: have a database of criminal cases where the career criminal has been released to commit more crimes. List the judge in each case. The public needs to know who is letting violent criminals out of jail. It will bring to light the loopholes and systemic problems with our system of justice.

I went to school with Officer French's son...I lived in midtown at the time of this tragic event and I remember just seeing cop car after cop car fly up 80 for almost an hour.

I was working for Brinks Armored Security transporting currency when I noticed Sac Sheriff and Sac Police helicopters circling the area off Fulton and seeing more than a dozen sheriff, CHP, CHPD,SacPD, FolsomPD Officers and vehicles. I was like something bad happened. Later on that night going home from work I stopped at Safeway and grab flowers and seen two deputy’s inside the store. I approached them and said I’m sorry for your lost where can I go to drop these flowers off, they informed me I can drop them off at there North command station. So I drove to the North command station and noticed a deputy in plain clothes standing in the parking lot pacing back and forth. He noticed me sitting in my vehicle so I approached the fence and gave him the flowers and I told him sorry for your lost. He looked at me with a look that I’ll never forget and said thank you for your support we really need it now and it’s good to see that we have support. Much Love to Sac Sheriff and what you guys do. I did a ride along out of North command last year in July of 2022 and it was so fun. Thanks again Sac Sheriff for all that you guys do for the county. Keep the line!

Great video guys!!! (Except for 1:00:30 when the video cut out.) I'm so glad Dave survived and is now thriving and living his best life. Bobby was a Hero and he certainly died as one. No doubt he saved many lives with his own actions that day. RIP Bobby...

Ive binged watched 3 episodes so far, subscribed after the 1st one and am HOOKED by the 3rd amazing interviews. I found you guys because of the donut operator video review, you should do more reviews of him, code bluecam, any other bug name ect ect because i would have never found your guy's AMAZING stuff without it! And you handle everything so respectfully and with grace so dont worry about " peoples judgement " your work speaks for itself

See this tells me I have the calling because out of alot he horrific stories and videos I see nothing can take away this absolute burning desire to become a police officer. Nothing can or will take this feeling away from me and thank god I finally began the very long process and so far it’s all green lights and I’m weeks from the academy and it’s game on

Another victim of officers trying to be a super hero. Why in the hell would you make entry into a room where a possible felon could be with out at the minimum a shield secondly why keep trying to make entry into the room once met with resistance at the door this was total fubar the the moment they approached the door

its a dangerous job, i wish that all cops expected every second to be there last because its always the super routine-ish encounters that go deadly unfortunately when you least expect it............all cops are some what brave to do their job unless you worked uvalde that day......
