A breath of fresh air this film is. Having been raised in a family of old school animators, I grew up loving and admiring hand-drawn animation, so whenever I see it blossom in the indie scene and beyond my heart jumps a little. Gobelins' work has always impressed. You have some very talented students there, and this team is no exception. Well done, all of you!

The theme I'm gathering...before, the flower of life was forced to always be in bloom, because they were afraid of death and disorder. But when Mae challenged her sister Ida, they learned the flow of life. There is the bloom of spring, then things wither, but it is not the end. Life always springs back. This is really beautiful!

The colors, the textures, the MOVEMENT, oh my gosh! This feels like something out of Fantasia or a master animator's passion project, solely funded by themselves. I am in love with how everything in this film looks and moves, it is so beautiful.

I have seen so many masterpieces from the Gobelins students, yet this one is the first I'm leaving a comment under. It's just magical. The dynamic of animation, the colors, the voiceover, the stlry itself are fantastic! I adored each and every second of it. For me, this little movie was not only about seasons, but about life and death in general - like the myth of Persephone and Demeter (which is a bit cliché of a comparison). Not only is this a wonderful folk like tale of how the seasons came to be, but about change. The eldest was scared of change and wanted to stick to tradition, while Mae's curiosity about the unknown was great. Though change may be scary at times, in the end, it's a wonderful event that creates patterns and ups and downs in this world. Beautiful story and very well done.

This story makes me feel like a kid again! I cant describe it! The primodial characters, the beautiful message the stellar animation and the voices and sounds!!! It feels like somone wise amd kind is showing me the world we live in and how serene it all is!! I can't express how beautiful this was. I love the fairytale book opening and closing and the soothing narration. The way Ida and Mae speak is so unique and the art is otherwordly. This is so inspiring.
