Priscilla, why is it when you get to the parts where they made a big mistake....they conveniently forget that part lol!! 😂😂 “oh I remember ...I’ll take over” That’s OK...just more proof that they wouldn’t know what to do without us!!❤️ I do agree so very much with Asa, when you face severe challenges in your early years of marriage...it draws you closer together. At least that has been our experience as well, my husband and I were married in May of 2009....I had 2 children from a previous relationship that he later adopted. I got pregnant on our honeymoon, he was stationed in Hawaii with the Marine Corps....my pregnancy was rough and we were told not to have any more.....#4 was a complete surprise and resulted in him discharging from the Marines to come home.....when our daughter was 4 months old, we went out for the first time after Baby and he collapsed, his heart stopped...he was 26 years old. He was diagnosed with a rare heart condition, they also implanted a pacer/defibrillator. Looking back, the first few years of our marriage were literally one thing right after the other....but now, everyone always asks if our marriage has always been this easy....the answer most assuredly is No BUT I can’t imagine going through this life...all the good and the bad, without him beside me! Y’alls story is Adorable and so are y’all ....keep doing this thing called life together, y’all do it well that way!

The food poisoning story reminds me of my best friend couple. She got food poisoning on their very first face-to-face meeting after talking on the phone, so she spent the whole time barfing. He stuck around anyway and they are still going strong six years later. My cousin and her now husband experienced food poisoning together only a few weeks into their relationship also, and had to share one bathroom for the whole ordeal. What is it about food poisoning that brings people together? Haha!
