I had gastric sleeve surgery in Jan 2019. It had nothing to do with looks or being skinny. I did it for my health and to prevent other health problems. You've got this Priscilla! I wish I had done it sooner!

I had gastric sleeve surgery September of '17. It takes a bit of getting used to, but I have to say it was one of the best decisions I've ever made! I have to take pain medication daily due to a back injury so the sleeve was the better choice for me. I'm so happy for you! It's a difficult decision to make but man oh man do I feel so much better 100 pounds down!!! Nine months, 102 pounds. So, with the shoe on the other foot...if you have any questions I'd be more than happy to give you my view on things. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I knew it! I'm a bariatric patient as well (total gastric bypass). I lost 150 pounds and have kept it off. I had it 14 years ago. My one piece of advice is to remember this feeling, this moment in time, and when weakness strikes remind yourself of what you have put your body through just to get healthy. It's a rough journey, not gonna lie but so worth it in the long run. Allow yourself to grieve your fondness of food as your relationship with it has just taken a dramatic turn. You can do this Priscilla! #teampriscilla

Hi Pricilla , I understand completely why you had the sleeve done. I also had it done the first of Jan. And have lost 60 lbs , my BMI went from 58.9 to 44 as of last week. I took 15 pills a day, for bp, high bs, and the health issues went on and on. I am now down to 4 pills a day. I feel great! You are a beautiful Lady and was before but health I know is important and as we get older it becomes more important so you go girl!!!!! I love watching all of your Video’s . She had a lot of health issues because of her weight and I'm extremely thankful she had the surgery as she has now added many more years to her life that her doctor said she wouldn't be around to see! I've heard many say the sleeve was better for them. Anyway, going to watch the documentary now. Thank you for sharing. I had a Roun Y in 1999. It was relatively new to do it that way at the time I did. Biggest advice that I will give anyone having any type of stomach surgery is to please keep up with your blood work. It isn't the easiest to get a lack of nutrition back to a normal healthy range. Many prayers for continued success.

i had the gastric sleeve surgery 6/21/17, and i lost 150 pounds 😊 i was able to get pregnant with my son and i’ve gained since then but now with the tools i have i’m confident i’ll lose the baby weight. Asa's mom is so cool n so sweet. I want to get bariatric surgery because I've tried everything n I can't lose weight. I'm just not sure if insurance will cover it because I only have high blood pressure n no other health problems due to weight n I can't afford to pay for it out of pocket. Congrats Cilla.
