Absolutelly. The way that the sea forts and the legend of veil voyage came to the game through the adventures were WAY cooler than now. Skull of siren song, Flameheart, skelly camps, they just spawned with 0 explanation.

The ship being the from the same prison makes more sense if you think about why is it the only one with sails and construction asthetics sinilar to Junk boats of the middle east we havent seen an ancient vessel yet asude from the sails given from handing in ancient chests it could just be a teisted version of what was once an ancient vessel. Driven mad after being locked away losing itself like a certain skeletal curse does to the people who once crewed it

What I don't understand is how Briggsy and Louise got into those temples if they were covered in sand? Were there ways to access them that they closed off as they left and Louise got trapped in the 6th because of a collapse? Did they dig their way in only to reburry them so that they'd remain difficult to find? Some explanation would be nice.

Hey I got a crazy theory here, what if the Sirens whispering plague was from the Old Mother Kraken? A form of possession from its last death cries? The Siren Queen calls the younger kraken her daughter, while saying a lot of who they are was lost or overriden. We don't know when the old mother was killed in relation to the sirens creation, but her death would've had some impact on the merfolk. Something that just needed a trigger to set it off

The Plague was a result of the Siren Queen using forbidden magic to turn one of the Ancient Warriors, her love, into one of the merfolk. This is explained in the Sunken Pearl Tall Tale and the journals in the different shrines

so here's a head spinner for ya... Sea of thieves takes place in the modern era, and it's simple to prove. During maiden voyage the pl says "back in the day" a phrase that was 1st used in print (according to some sources) in 1973 and is still used today. Which places the sot timeline in the modern era. This means that sot is just a pirate fantasy that never was, and never will be.

They need a dedicated tall tale team, there is much lore missed and story beats missed you’re gonna have a Fortnite situation where you need to watch a 3 hour video to recap the story, if we don’t get a flame heart tall tale and it’s only in love events… like pendragon that was a great event but if I had to explain why flame heart is back there’s nothing in game to tell them not everything has to be in the tall tale just give us the story beats
