I like all of the different Black Flag vocalists but Keith was always my favorite. Group Sex is a masterpiece. The energy captured on that record is palpable

Their very last record (it came out in 95', so I guess it's safe to say that), 'Oddities, Abnormalities and Curiosities' is one of the most underrated punk albums of that decade. I don't know why it doesn't get more attention than it does: Morris has never been more charismatic than on this album, which also demonstrates Hetson's range and talent even moreso than any of his Bad Religion records. The entire record is great, but that cover of Soft Boys 'I wanna Destroy You' featuring (of all people) Debbie Gibson, just takes the cake

Circle Jerks are legendary. Keith is a great frontman with a clear voice. Golden Shower probably my favourite and yes VI was a surprise packet.

Don't foget there was Dez Candena before Rollins became vocalist. Dez later played guitar for Jerry Only's Misfits with Marky Ramone on drums.

Yeah, flag played right before rancid at punk rock bowling and let's say Keith wasn't to happy about it...saying the damned should have headlined the show that night and be being an old guy I couldn't have agreed more...there would be no rancid if there was no damned and flag...but what people have told me I guess rancid was influenced by the clash?

I remember seeing the circle jerks before Keith had dreads, one time my buddy and i went to club they were they were playing a few hours before the doors opened,we got on the guest list for helping them set up the t-shirts and the bass player wasn't there for sound check so Cornelius from JFA was hanging and filled in on bass for sound check...you guys talk about bad religion a lot you should check out "shattered faith" they sound like the "how could hell..." album

@@thepunkrockreview yeah it was good times...scary,exciting,satisfying all at the same time, never knew what would happen from show to show. Keep up with older bands,I love hearing what the younger punks think about the older bands,to me It's completely different era's...and ignore the haters.

The Circle Jerks album Thirteen is great, I think that came out after Wild In The Streets. Early Black Flag with Keith Morris is great & I like Damaged & My War. Not a fan of the the rest of Black Flag albums after.
