I remember that somewhere in youtube, you can find the orginal sketches that they made of the characters! Like, for example we could've see Roxanne's workplace INSIDE! And megamind? Not only he had a bit of a different name but he also had a mustache! 👨 Hal was also skinny in there, but you know... he was still acting like the usual hal that we know today, except from that fact that he said "b*chin!" In those sketches! I recommend to watch those sketches of them for whoever is interested in it, it was fun and interesting reading and looking at those! 👽💙

You showed a photo from the art book for one of the members of the Doom Syndicate but that art book is really useful for getting information about them, the magma villain from the new movie is actually an old design reused but for some reason they were only one reused. Also there were other villains like a puzzle based guy along with some other ones showing up in the other Megamind games. The final note I would say is that the Doom Syndicate do actually appear in animatics that are actually uploaded to KZbin by " Bronze Wool", you can find these pretty easily and they are a fun watch to see what could have been.

WHATT???!! I had no clue, I definitely gotta do more research next time. I’m glad commenters like you are able to enlighten me on things I didn’t know about. I’m gonna buy the art book because there seems to be a lot of fun information. And I had absolutely no clue about there being animatics, especially ones that show the doom syndicate. I’m going to watch those asap! I’m hopeful the new movie will do these characters justice and make people like them. Thanks for commenting:)
