well, if you take a look at the Wehrmacht, they were really just the military, i think a lot of them did not want to follow the nazi regime, many of them were just soldiers. the SS, though, were essentially hitler’s personally paramilitary. so if you take a closer look at the germans fighting with the US during this battle, you’ll see why.

This conflict is one of the most concise, physical embodiments of the Benevolent vs. the Malevolent.
