This is quite possibly the only strat I'd ever need. But to be honest if I got it, I mean when I get it, it would be my third and certainly not my last because strats are like fuzz. You just can't own enough!

On my main Strat I have a Hot Rails in the bridge, but almost went with the JB. I appreciate you going over this guitar, especially the Sustainer, which I have no experience with. I recommend adding Daphne Blue and Surf Green Strats to your collection, they'll make it prettier.

Freind of mine bought one of those vox teardrops with built in speaker then bypassed part of circuit that switch speaker off when plugged into an amp, oh my god it was amazing as speaker in guitar reacted and drove string in infinite sustain noise fun

I bought one and it was the best decision I've ever made. The guitar has actually played a huge factor in the type of player I am now, and the type of music I end up creating. There are so many things you can do with this guitar that you just can't do with a regular guitar.

I still don't know what amp should I get because valve amp seem to have so much more life in it over a Katana... but not so bedroom-friendly ! Never liked Radiohead, I did try and even bought one of their CDs to try and find what all the fuss was about. The Sustaining Stratocaster sort of works but it’s not for me, I’m sure a few players will love it though. Didn’t a Japanese manufacturer do something similar some years ago? I seem to remember it was called a Sustainiac or something.

Biguitar I’ve had the eob strat for about a year and a half and yes, it eats 9 volts pretty fast. That’s my only complaint with the guitar. I love it to death but I don’t like having to worry whether it has enough juice in the battery

@@TheGuitarGeek Why don't they simply make them with re-chargeable batteries, so if they run out, you could simply plug them in. Or have the possibility of having a plug in power-chord, like on guitar pedals.. is that maybe not possible. Or is it made like that so you are forced to buy batteries each time and support he battery business?
