The STRONGEST and SAFEST Honor Mode Build in Baldur's Gate 3

I hope this video gets more views, because I find it a lot more helpful than the ones that require some kind of overly complicated min-max build, especially since I really prefer to avoid spending hours prepping for every encounter. Honour Mode seems like it really shouldn’t require perfect optimization, just careful preparation and thoughtful gameplay, at least compared to Balanced which you can more or less sleepwalk through for the most part. I’ll definitely plan on trying some of these tips for my next attempt!

I'm totally going to try this out. I would make ONE tweak: Give the two Lore Bards their first level in Fighter. At the cost of a *single level delay* in Bard progression, you get: - Medium Armor Proficiency - Heavy Armor Proficiency - Shield Proficiency - Proficiency with every weapon in the game - Constitution Saving Throw Proficiency - Permanent +1 AC (defense fighting style) With just holding a shield and the fighting style, that is immediate +3 to AC forever. On top of that access to the incredible Medium Armors, and the much more useful Con Save proficiency which makes holding Concentration much more reliable.

Use a Halfling Swords Bard w/ Sharpshooter if you are struggling. Toggle OFF the +10 damage until you get the proper equipment/stats to offset the -5 to hit chance. Expertise in Sleight of Hand can let you get rid of your rogue-type Companion and replace them with a heavy hitter like a Tavern Brawler Monk or Tavern Brawler Eldritch Knight thrower(wayyy simpler to use than barbarian Thrower.
