Why use 2 points in Rogue's Precision, when you could use those points for Combat Expertise or Vitality in Paladin/Warrior tree instead.

Because they are lvl 70 builds for free pick server, where you can level as whatever you want and then respec into this build at lvlcap.

youre high as a kite saying u dont need to fit PW shield its literally the best possible defensive cooldown you could possibly get outside just straight up immunity from like divine shield and its on the shortest cooldown that being however long weakend soul debuff lasts which is like 20 seconds

This is an okay build. I'm a bit surprised you went back to Crimson Champ after showing insane love for Bulwark, not that it matters overly much. However, while I run my own CC build on A52, some of your choices for YOUR build are definitely not something I would take into any consideration. Shield of the Templar being the biggest one of them. Have you BOTHERED to look at Light of the Guardian???? Its one of the BEST Holy AOE threat abilities put into the game THUS FAR! If you were to take the time to focus some talent points not only into Mental Quickness, but Sheath of Light; you can easily boost your Bonus healing power to equal you spell power as well. when I use my LotG ability, I heal between 1300-1500 every 6 seconds. Not to mention that the overall AoE holy damage is GREATER that Holy wrath between the time you use Holy wrath vs the multiple times you use LofG. Next, you should take Armored to the Teeth, mainly because if you increase your attack power; more AP means more threat. (in my case, more AP means more SP/HP) Lastly, don't use PWS? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? Let me educate you on something. YES, PWS healers are probably the most broken and most powerful shield healers in the game BUT if you take into consideration the application of COMBINING the enhanced PWS WITH DIVINE PROTECTION; you are literally talking about a 100% damage reduction for that 5 seconds! given that most PUG parties now demand that you pull w2w (that's wall 2 wall if you didn't know) pull an entire room and then popping that particular CD means your heal has that window to drop a major heal upon should your HP drop low enough during the initial trash pull. this combination ALSO works EXTREMELY well vs boss mechanics like Kael's 100k+ pyroblast. I tested it and laughed my head off when I saw it work. Even if you can't always combine the 2 CD's the fact that you are ignoring an on demand 50% DR, (and I don't fucking care if its 5 second long!) No new tank/lesser geared tank should ever ignore either of two abilities because of the massive beneficial implications they have when raiding. Now mind you, my CC tank is built for INSANE self healing capabilities, but I have no intention of showing that to you here. I simply feel this build of your CURRENT version of your build has some serious flaws within it and requires you to take another look on it should be structured.

I have tested all sorts of self healing builds and simply put - in any scenario its never worth sacrificing anything talent point wise for anything but mitigation. The PWS stacking with another CD like you said Divine Protection is not 100% damage mitigation, it has extreme levels of diminishing returns. At the end of the day healing yourself as a tank is a waste of talent points and GCDs, you will be a more useful tank to your raid in almost every scenario letting your healers do the healing. I appreciate the long feedback you obviously love tanking like I do haha

@@DrydekTV Hahaha, yeah, Im a career tank. Been so since 2002. (I know, I just dated myself 🤣) And honestly, Ill only agree with you on letting healers heal you IF your team is as solid as yours. But in 90% pug situations, I don't trust no one but myself to keep my ass up. LOL! Keep up the good work though. I do enjoy your vids, even if my feedback can be a bit extensive. 🤣

@@DrydekTV Btw, whats your recommendation about expertise? Ive read that 8% for WotLK game builds is ideal but what are YOUR thoughts? Im at 8% right now.

Expertise is a non-factor in gearing for tanking on Ascension
