Hey guys! I'm back after a chaotic week and a half. Here is an updated build guide for my self-healing tank on the Season 9 Ascension server. Loving the build, thanks so much for posting. I was looking for a great pally build btw. I studied your previous videos and now I have 2 really good heal tank pally characters. I am 1000 plus and climbing in manastorms with the build. It's a great build.

Hey, really nice video! Question, would it be possible to use hoplite training with this build, or will it affect 2h parry aspect negatively?

Hey thanks for checking out the video!! Although I have a lot of parry talents, a very large chunk of my parry chance is coming from the Iron Will talent. Once a shield is equipped, that Strength:Parry conversion is removed. And because I'm using ret pally gear, I wouldn't get enough block chance to make up for the loss of parry. You can see in some of my other videos my armor goes up to 14k so a shield doesn't really offer any advantage besides looking like an absolute unit. If Iron Will wasn't deactivated by having a shield I'd probably go hoplite just for the shield strike dmg and tmog

At level 1, pick up Righteous Fury, Crusader Strike, Victory Rush (for the heal), and Consecration. Ability Cards: Divine Storm, Blessing of Sanctuary, Exorcist's Slash, Seal of Command Talent Cards: Mental Quickness 5/5, Tactical Mastery 3/3, One With The Light, Unbounded Deathhealer, Righteous Zealot, Draining Strikes Alternate Talent Cards: Consecrated Ground, Consecrated Weapon, Iron Will 3/3, Deflection 3/3, Divinity 3/3, Reckoning 5/5, Ward of Light Unfortunately this is a build that requires a LOT of all the talents just to be considered "viable" but once you get close to 90% it suddenly becomes S-tier because of a compounding effect on Strength talents

In combat when I have talents/enchants procced I'm close to 15k armor now without a shield. It really offers no incentive to switch. Especially when you get passive magic damage reduction from Deflection 3/3 capstone

Is ghostly strike needed for this build? 10% more parry still good. What with last stand and undauted, maybe it's worth to take? What with hammerstorm? Did you tested it? Is it all your skills? What with mocking blow and 50% reduction for 10 sec. Pretty good. Is the survi ok for this build, i know it has great selfheal. Just curious. THANK FOR GREAT GUIDE, LOVE IT!

There are plenty of things that would help the build, but what I have is optimized. Only so many ability/talent slots available. Hammerstorm is bad, and undaunted is also very bad because it is different on this server. Yes the survivability is good- I have several videos showcasing this. Check out some of my recent videos to get an idea of what the build can do in solo content :)

What is best for the build, Shadow power or Holy specialization? And great build, I tried to do something like that in area 52, with the old ward of light and tactical mastery was viable, but they changed cause it was op.

They stack so if your looking to do more damage you can use both

@@tajmartin279 are u sure? the talents says "this doesn't stack", they probably are saying about the crit percentage, but if holy specialization is good enough to replace, i'll keep the one who hit capstone first

@@madsoncaminha2517 I'd say Shadow power because the crit bonus affects all of your Holy periodic damage- consecrated ground, purified by light, consecration, emanating light, righteous vengeance. Whereas holy specialization would only benefit things like holy wrath, holy shock, holy fire and the crit chance is consumed upon casting. I experimented with it early on in the season and I was really disappointed with it. However...if you made a build around Holy Wrath it could have some crazy AoE benefits if every holy wrath was crit-capped

I noticed since u are melee & getting hit a lot, you could use Cleave or Heroic Strike passively. If i didn't miss something that would be consuming rage, you could macro one of those in to each of your abilities and they will automatically go off with each swing without a global cooldown triggering for some passive damage/aoe. Build looks awesome tho and is something i was looking for. Gotta try it. Subbed with a bell

Hey thanks for checking out the video! The downside to cleave and heroic strike is they both deal physical damage which has a 50% nerf from OWTL. The other issue is warrior abilities can't proc Seal of Command. I had cleave a while back and with it macro'ed to every button it was doing less than half a percent of my total damage. If OWTL didn't have the 50% physical nerf it would definitely make sense

As far as I know there is no option to load builds on the seasonal server since all talents are random

I've told a lot of people this exists in the world chat. It's also really easy to roll something decent if you just have the only necessary and rare cards owtl and crusader. Personally, I keep trying to make pious strikes and hammer of the righteous work but it doesn't do as much damage as this to keep threat from great dpsers.

The downside to pious is its based on holy nova healing which is pretty meh. It would be cool if you could proc pious off of hammerstorm though! :)

I had 90% of it by ~2 weeks in. Lots of scroll farming. I'm over 3k rerolls for this spec so far

Any reason why you dont go demon for 5% less damage pluss 5% extra dps and also soul link with extra soullink talent wich gives 12% as well?

When demon takes damage, that means some of the healing from divine storm will start to go toward demon instead of you. So it cancels out soul link.

Season 9 exclusive feature

Season 9 has 51 talent "slots" instead of talent points. That slot could be rank 1-5 of any talent that your randomly roll/reroll. 61 slots at level 70.

Currently no, this server has significantly less limitations and more available talent/RE combinations. After the season is over then I think the changes will be brought over to the A52 server
