Love bunkers, and love floor stacking, so solid build. Personally however, I think a base tour should be at the beginning of every base build video in existence. Allows you to figure out if it's something you want without waiting until the end or scrolling there first. Just some constructive criticism.

Its a really cool concept, however does feel a little impractical to build, a lot needs to be upgraded and built before having much of an airlock. also the door cost could do with increasing as the path through doors and then the bunker is 23 rockets i believe unless ive done the maths wrong, 2 singles, 2 garage doors and an armoured floor. honestly so impressive that youve managed to combine floor stacking with a stability bunker tho. wonder if you could turn this into something with awesome inner peaks?

It's 100% on the more difficult side to get started, but I personally feel like the payoff is worth it in the end. I've got a couple other builds I'm working on using a similar combination but i'll keep in mind trying to find an easier way to get it started. As for the inner peaks, 100% could use the floor stack to create some very interesting peaks

My landlord accused me of doing something illegal becuase of my power usage. I just bought rust after watching many willjum videos. I got 300 hours in the last month. that being said I can no longer use my PC and need to use my laptop. The issue RUST completely disconnects me from the internet. I have googled and reinstalled windows and rust. It's an issue I can't figure out. many hours of trying to fix this issue and you guys are my last hope. Game loads when it refreshes the server list is exactly when I am system-wide disconnected from the internet. I close the game and the internet comes back immediately.

Down in the core, you can also build a wall frame instead of a door frame to hold the stability bunker, which is easier to build from the core and does allow to have more boxes in the core. Other than that, amazing design, amazing video

@reksmore if you fit 1 bed and 1 locker they are not visible/destroyable from the outside of the garage door the door has to be placed with the back looking outside, the roll nice combination of def methods!

Also a tip: The 2x1 footprint must be like the one in the video. You cannot for example have the bunker entrance on the first square that you place of the original floorstack triangles. This causes some of the honeycomb to not be placable. So, looking from the floorstack: bunker entrance on the left and offset foundation on the right.

Solid base. Nice to see some new floor stacked designs, I do think you can use garage doors there and still floor stacked that one roof. Just have to open amd close at the lock instead of reaching up to the roll.

Great build, one thing though is incorrect when you mention around 13 minutes in that if u use garage doors, and have that room floor stacked you won't be able to close them bc they mesh behind the stone frame, but you didn't have locks on them yet either. If you place a lock on a garage door, the lock itself physically juts out the side of the frame, which will be accessible even after floor stacking that room. So, if anyone read this, lol, go ahead and slap locks on the garage doors, then u can floor stack

You can also stack the square ladder hatches by building another square floor frame after you place the triangle tops on the first honey comb! you just have to take them off and re apply/lock when sealing the bunker. I cant stop making this base!

Using E on code locks can open and close doors, so even if you floor stack garage doors, you just look at the lock and use E to close them, so it really wouldn't matter if you can't do it by looking at the rollers of the door.

@@Reksmore I just built it on a real server. Right as I was about to finish the God bunker section some a-hole decides its a great idea to raid the base right next to me lmao. Quickly built that top door and hid in my starter base for a bit, then scavenged whatever loot was leftover in the raid and continued my base.

IMHO, bases like this are a hassle to build (especially if the server is full) and aren't even _close_ to being small enough to avoid attention from raiders! great vid. however,one small correction/suggestion. when you say that you can't close garaged doors where you floor stack the ceiling is a bit misleading. if you add code locks to the garage doors they can be closed by clicking on the code lock to close the door.

What did I do incorrectly? I can get the god bunker to work just fine, the problem I have is it isn't letting me place the last triangle foundation for the honeycomb on the ladder hatch end. I can get around this by building the triangle circle, but it doesn't let me place about 2/3s of the walls (all the way around) the rest of the base for the honeycomb due to being too close to another building.

When I add the triangles to the top of the honeycomb it stops the bunker from working. edit: there appears to be 3 different positions the triangle can attach to when placing it. One hovers above the honeycomb, this is wrong, and then there are two lower ones that are slightly different horizontal positions. Mess around with them a bit. I found the ones that came closer to my side of the wall I was standing on worked. Place one triangle at a time and test the bunker.

It is confusing for a beginner builder. I have 150+ hrs and really getting into it, but often wonder "WHY I have to place 10 twigs just to break and build em again". Would be cool if you did a video on bulding basics and advanced things. A) cover basic terms like stability, decay, why and when stuff decays, etc B) cover techniques names and purposes (e.g. what is floor stacking, bunkers) C) Do more of a "thought process" rather than "mindless step by step instruction".

I'm trying to replicate this, but every time I extend out by 9 and 9 triangles it places the foundation too far to allow me to place the honeycomb layer. If I extend out 9 and 7, or 7 and 7, then it breaks the bunker. Do you have any tips for how to get it to work?

The issue is that you're likely messing up the floor gap itself, If you tried it without the gap step (unable to do the extra layer on the base, but everything else still works) you'd be able to do it likely, Otherwise it's about maintaining that precise movement for the initial 2 triangles from teh ramp

@@Reksmore Thanks, I messed around with it more on a build server last night. I found that on level ground I was able to replicate it more consistently by placing the small box a few pixels higher on the car ramp at the beginning. This seemed to give the troublesome honeycomb (the sqare going around the front) better clearance with the gapped floor. It seems to only have a pixel or two of tolerance. More often than not though, the honeycomb on that side needed to be improvised to compensate for the lower floor stack not working on that side. I just successfully built it on a play server this morning with a similar hiccup, but with enough working to double stack the core and the main honeycombs. Thanks for the awesome compact design! As a solo who just jumped back into the game this should help a ton with security.

can you lower the rolling doors if you put codelocks on them so you can look at the lock and use a command? instead of having to look up to close it if it dissappears into the top floor?

I have followed the video for about 7 times and everytime I get the same problem where I can't place a square foundation on the right side (3:58 in the video). It says it too close to another building and when I remove the 2 halfwalls I can place it but then the floorstacking or bunker will probably not work. When that happens its almost always an issue w/ the floor stack not being in the right spot I would either skip floor stacking or MAKE SURE you place it properly as close together without any mouse movement

@@Leeway4434 I had the same problem. I think you need to build the first 2 foundations a little higher then the next 2 triangle foundations. I noticed this because as soon as you place that first half wall, that "very important" square to test does not fit. I think that half wall once built is blocking that test square from fitting hence building the first 2 foundations higher works since that half wall ends up being higher then that test square.

You'd have to really make sure to steadily only move to one direction, but you could also line yourself up with boxes behind you to keep you from going any other direction
