Yeah, most cheats now have toggles so the cheater can switch it on and off. They do this to try to hide when they are cheating. This is why cheaters in fortnite can usually evade getting caught, they have a really bad system that says when you are being spectated which makes the cheater close their cheats to avoid detection. Some people want this in apex for some insane reason

If I had to hazard a guess I'd imagine it's the same principle behind why a lot of people do drugs. Short term satisfaction that only leads to a long term problem both for themselves and the people they interact with in the game. I don't mind the havoc meta. I HATED r99 meta. That gun sneezed it's whole clip and blew your back out. There was 0 counter play. You can challenge the havoc but you couldn't challenge the r99. It outclassed the 301 at medium ranges it was so good
