Thanks for your honest review! RevAir is truly different than any other hair tool on the market and does take some time to figure out your perfect settings. Your hair turned out great and now that you know what works best for your hair type, your next Rev session will be much quicker. The sticky feeling is most likely from the product used, we recommend no fixative type of product on your hair. A heat protectant is fine, but it may have been that leave in conditioner giving you that sticky feeling.

I have 4c hair and it's one of the best investments I've made. My hair does feel a bit stiff after blow drying, but I think that's partially due to my hair texture, plus my hair feels hydrated and soft after blowdrying. I use the LOC method after blowdrying --my hair is soft, bouncy and super moisturized the entire week. I wash weekly so I don't know if it would last longer. This dryer is probably best for people who have chronically dry hair and hair the easily tangles due to the curls. My time to detangle on wash day decreased from 2 hours to 30 minutes

I absolutely love revair! I recommend it on every video I see about it in the hopes that someone else that has struggled will try it and feel the freedom it gives me. (Dry, clean stretched hair faster and easier without the fear of heat damage.) I got it to help with detangling because I need stretched hair in order to detangle. I wish you had wet the other side and tried the no heat option. The revair website has a LOT of info that does not come in the manual - questions and answers. It explains sticky products like gels etc don't work well and products that have slip work better. I'm so happy you got to try it out. After reading the website and manual I hope you do another video showing the results when you use it by holding it or dabbing it by the scalp. I wash my hair in twists and then dry the twists with revair for a very easy wash day.
@kweikikwapong70452 жыл бұрын
Hi @Vonshall, sounds like you need to make a video girl 😄😄...what is your exact wash day process? Do you wash, and then do the LOC method, and then put your hair back in twists and use the Revair?

@Angie B well you know if we stopped spending money on relaxers , they're trying to get that money back in some way. It really looks like my vacuum cleaner would probably do the same thing, suck the water right out of my hair and I even think it gets a little warm. I would try it if they lower the price of a heck of a lot more. It's noisy which could damage your hearing and it appears to be heavy.

@@sable7114 they ripping off black people man...a vaccuum doesnt cost this much
@sable71143 жыл бұрын
@@kerriewithpurpose5722 I would attend to agree with that except that they have white people using it in ads as well, actually all hair types so they are ripping off everyone. I agree this is quite expensive 4 what it does, it seems to do a good job but it doesn't seem as though it should cost that much. One big con is the size which probably means you would not be able to travel with a blow dryer or An air dryer nor would it be very convenient to place on my vanity to dry on my hair in the bathroom and let's face it some of us have pedestal sinks with the mirror so you'd have to bring in another TV table or something to hold something that large. They would sell so many of those if they would lower the price considerably. I don't want a payment plan we're trying to get through a pandemic.

Hi, I have 4c hair and I used Silk Elements heat protectant spray once and it was the last. I hated it. It left a sticky residue on my hair. Also the next time you blow dry make sure you use a light weight leave-in and a light heat protectant....as in won't weigh your hair down but protects up to 450. degrees.
@temiadesina6 жыл бұрын
do you have any heat protectant suggestions?

@@temiadesina Hi Temi, first of all thanks for the revair demo on 4 type hair. I was very curious about it because I have 4c hair. I use Kenra Blow Dry Spray and Aveda Brilliant Damage Control Heat Protectant. They both are lightweight and helps dry hair faster.
@annealessandri80666 жыл бұрын

Great video! If you decide to twist/braid out, on blow dried hair can you try to set it by sitting under a dryer for 10=15 mins. I dont know why everyone waits for days to do the takedown. It doesn't seem necessary if your hair is mostly dry.
@temiadesina6 жыл бұрын
yeah mines takes a day to dry when starting on dry hair but yes u can sit under the dryer. it really depends on how much product you put in your hair that determines how long you'll sit under the dryer
@antoinettechevalier24536 жыл бұрын
Totally agree: I always "set" my styles by sitting under a bonnet dryer (never got into the whole wearing-twists-for-days-on-end). But Temi's right -- time under the dryer depends on how much product u use: I do leave-in, styler cream, *and* gel, so my time with the bonnet dryer is about an hour, even when my hair is partially dry to begin with.

The heat actually overtime trains your hair it’s the wrong products and you need a trim. You said your ends react to heat by tangling what really is going on your hair needs a really good trim like 3 inches.Applying heat properly stretches overly curly hair and actually helps train the hair and make it more manageable.
