The thing I love about this chair is that it "disappears" -- i.e. I completely forget that I'm sitting down, if that makes sense. Other chairs I've owned, I was always very conscious of the chair itself, especially whenever I need to lean or roll to the side....with this one I just move around and the chair is just "there"

You are 100% right. I bought a Steel Case chair For over $1,200 like 5 years ago comes with 10-12 year warranty. It was one of my best investments. Cheap chairs only last a couple of years and you have to throw them away. Better to buy a good chair now and save the money later. Going the cheap way you will wind up spending the same money for the good chair and have back issues. I know its rough coming up with the money but it is worth it.

How are you liking this chair after a year? No one has done a long term review that I can find, just first impressions. Curious how it has helped long term with back pain.

He Vinny, the Stealth chair has been a life saver. Hard to explain all that it does, but I can tell you that after a year of long days sitting in it my back thanks me. The low back took a little getting used to but it promotes good posture. Worth every penny! Cheers!
