You are doing a great job of showing the realities of camping: bugs and rain are often big parts of it. Yet, you both maintain good attitudes. Thanks for keeping it real.

Hey everyone from Collierville Tennessee ever since I found on live KZbin video I’ve been intrigued by the lifestyle that Cody and Kelli live in a tent and how they manage their life they are so detailed and they have fun with each other and they’re so spontaneous and to watch Kelli cook is just so much fun and you can almost smell the food that she is preparing for her Cody. I look forward to seeing these videos every time they are uploaded, I am a retired lady and my husband and I have been camping for over40 years since our children were young and I enjoy watching adventures of other people camping in the dome life is so much fun to watch and my prayer is that God will provide for Cody and Callie keep them safe and warm and cool and direct their past and the way that they should go and open doors to new adventures

As soon as I saw the thumbnail for this video, I smiled really big and said yay! I'm really happy you guys enjoyed seeing pictured rocks! Spending time in the U.P Is one of the reasons I've fallen in love with Michigan! Also, Cody, I must say your videography is truly beautiful! The way your videos flow is absolutely inspiring. It's very noticeable, from my perspective, that you truly do enjoy capturing your videos. For me personally, I think that's also one of the things that makes your videos so captivating. Your passion speaks loudly within your creativity. :) Thanks for sharing how beautiful Michigan is!

I was born and raised in Michigan and every summer we vacationed for a week somewhere in Northern Michigan. I have been to pictured rocks and we took the boat tour but it was late 50's early 60's I really don't remember much. We were making our way up there in 2018 but had RV trouble in Kinross so that shot the rest of our vacation. Would still like to make it up there again but it's a long way (we live in Texas) and we're getting old!

Wow! This was a great vlog. Thanks for showing us the beautiful pictured rocks shoreline. I don't know if I will ever get there so it's so great to see it through your lens. The sound of the birds is so wonderful and I love that it is never snowing in your vlogs! A nice break from North Idaho dark winter.

So glad you got to take the boat tour. My dad was from the UP and we vacation there every few years. We went to Pictured Rocks three times and never got to take the boat because of weather. We did do the trails each time and that was fun, but I want to try to get back there and give the boat tour one more chance to work with me.

I binged your Michigan videos today, and am so happy you made it here and seem to be loving it! We just missed you in the U.P. over the 4th! I hope you can make it to Copper Harbor, my absolute favorite - but truth be told yes those flies are monsters so I don't blame you if you come back in the fall. The U.P. is beautiful when the colors change. If you hit Marquet, stop at Veladrome coffee, and The Delft for a great meal! Enjoy!

Nice filmmaking. Yer up in familiar places to me. I've snorkeled in those caves under Miners Castle. Also I was with 3 other couples of relatives and rented a pontoon on a foggy day at Pictured Rocks, it seemed extra beautiful and plenty of clearing to see the colors you saw. Glad you're up here.

Really enjoying watching this trip. Try buying a box fan at walmart, 22.00, to help with the bugs if you get caught in them again at the very least it might make cooking easier. They don't use to much energy. I also use smaller USB fans for just sitting around and it keeps the mosquitos away. Good Luck✌🏼

I've wanted to hike the Pictured Rocks trail since watching Dan Beck's backpacking trip. It would be an awesome adventure. I love how you both keep your camping trips real having to survive the weather elements, the flying insects and other issues that go awry during camping trips. Many of us avid outdoors people have experienced the gamut and it's not always pleasant. However, a great attitude like you guys maintain always makes the overall experience enjoyable...and you learn from it to make future adventures better.

Hey Cody I see you like to fish/ kayak fish and I have bait that me and my buddies use all the time as we have caught LM Bass, SM Bass, pickeral, panfish, trout and last week one of are guys caught a 25" northern pike and had a 36" plus and and broke off. We fish them in the river, lakes and streams. It's the 1/4oz white Joe's Fly. I think it's actually called a White MIller. Have safe travels.

Great trip, great content every time. You guys are a pleasure to watch , it's so peaceful to watch you guys out on your journey. Cody you should tie a Texas Rig and fish with plastic worms on your line, also you should try a top water lure, like a whopper plopper , you will catch more bass and possibly bigger fish. Thanks again for taking us all along on your adventures.

Don’t ya just LOVE where I get to live? A word of caution to anyone who might be considering to kayak along Pictured Rocks, it is strongly advised to only use a good quality sea kayak, not the small ones. Use one the outfitters that are located around Munising Bay. Lake Superior can stir up major weather and waves in a very short time, followed then by tragedy :(

Peaceful beautiful campsite ! I would love to camp there. Kellie & Cody you are managing the challenges very well. I live in Florida and my husband refuses to camp here in the summer, Too many bugs and unbearable heat. We still haven't camped ( did years ago especially my husband ).We will hopefully camp in late Fall.. Thinking of camping in Anastasia State Park. The boat tour was the way to go. The dessert looked heavenly .

Loving your videos. Grew up in Wisconsin, now live in Minnesota and have traveled and camped in the UP as well as lower Michigan. Re the bugs, there was probably a good reason my old GS camp located near Dagget, MI never sent the rugged, advanced wilderness trips out until Mid-July early August! I hope you are able to take in the Porcupine Mountains and Lake of the Clouds, Isle Royale, and the MN North Shore. If you make it to the North Shore, the Nanaboujou Lodge is worth a stop to see the dining room.
