One of my favorite one season shows hands down. I agree her accent was very elegant. The narration and on screen chemistry with the McGraws really shines. Not to mention she possesses breathtaking beauty that in no way takes away from the authority and strength portrayed. I really do believe she will be an A list star. I hope she keeps it up!

Jennifer Lawrence type stardom awaits this one! She very much resembles Jennifer as well. I think 1883 was the best series I've ever seen in my life. I honestly can't see anyone else playing the lead other than Isabel May. I've never sobbed so much in my life for a person's death that doesn't even exist in real life. I didn't see any acting or actor, I simply got to bare witness to the last 7 months of an 18 year old Pioneer, daughter, sister and womans life. Tim and Faith were incredible, but Isabel May truly was the breath and heartbeat of this masterpiece! The family dynamic between mother and daughter, father and daughter, and two parents hopes and fears as they watch their daughter; a true free spirit experience the wonders and horrors of life in the late eighteen-hundreds. A life experience we modern Americans will never taste of. We can only read and write stories, put moving pictures on a screen and watch on as the talented amongst us play a version of what we think life was truly like over 140 years ago on the great American trail. 1883 is the closest we can come to tasting that era, it's Beauty and it's ugly.

I think Taylor Sheridan made a huge mistake killing her off in 1883. I would have watched that kid grow old in that storyline. Beth Dutton is clearly a chip off the old block, and it makes more sense that she grew up hearing about her Aunt Elsa’s many adventures - and that Beth inherited that free and will spirit that we all came to love in Elsa.

The writer of 1883 wanted the audience to fall in love with the character Elsa, and it worked!! This actress is going to continue to do special things in her career. The content creator of this video lied to us, unfortunately, as Isabel's first lead break-out role was in a movie called Run, Hide, Fight. It was put out by a conservative media group called The Daily Wire. The Daily Wire began doing movies because they were tired of the Hollywood elites shoving "woke" context down our throats.
