Michael Crawford was hugely talented and his work on, 'Some Mother's Do Ave 'Em,' ranks alongside that of Buster Keaton. He's an absolute legend and a very talented artist. I grew watching him as a child in the 70's- nobody else could touch him when it come to the stunts he pulled off. Balls of steel!

I grew up with Frank Spencer. It never dawned on me that he did so many dangerous stunts. I doubt that many actors would be allowed to do that these days. What a talented chap.

I actually remember the car hanging over the cliff episode from the original series but I only now recall all of the stunts Michael Crawford did to make the show such a success.

It's funny the way everyone goes on about Tom Cruise hanging off the side of a building when Micheal Crawford was doing it on a TV show years earlier for humour.

Almost too good to watch, knowing it's really him and he's so endearing yet we know he could actually very easily die when filming these things.....and if you take into account the multiverse there must be loads where he did but we lived in the one where he didn't.....Quantum eigenstate we're in has some positives!

The idea of him risking so much for others' entertainment is his biggest strength. So much could have gone wrong, but he made it out OK and even sang through Phantom of the Opera. Many stages of incredible talent.

Micheal done all he's own stunts and only had one bad injury, he fell 10ft landed awkward and ended up needing a new hip, but that was it out of endless stunts.

In not one of these documentaries and videos about Michael Crawford's stunts do they ever show or even mention one of his most insane - the one in the driving lesson where he drives over the railway tracks as a train comes past, and he actually has to swerve around the front of the train, the collision is so close. I can't even begin to imagine the risk taken, even at a slow speed, the train would have crushed him to death in the car. Yet you have to do some intense digging to find the clip.

When the first thing said is wrong, what point is there continuing? His career started in the 1950s, as Benjamin Britten's boy treble of choice, after a safeguarding issue arose involving the 11 year old David Hemmings (yes, the future film star) during the premiere run of The Turn of The Screw 1n 1955.
