The salsa you are putting on burritos is to be used for eating with chips. Not in a burrito. You need to make a pico de gallo, chopped tomatoes, cilantro, onions and some spices. That is what you put on the burrito and tacos. You may look up the recipe online. That is a traditional La San Diego Tijuana style

This. He needs to at least warm both sides of the tortilla first to melt the lard (fat) that's in the tortilla itself so that it becomes softer and brings out texture. Then wrap the ingredients into the burrito at the end. It would save him so much time, effort, and make his burrito taste so much better.
as odd as it sounds, the Latino/Latina culture is pretty big in Japan. Major culture shock when I came across it by accident. Would LOVE to visit this place in the future!
