The Sucker Speller Card Trick

Sometimes as magicians we forget that when we use a stacked deck, it's okay to ruin the stack at some point in the routine by actually shuffling the deck! Or better yet, let your spectator shuffle.
In this video I explain why that is a great way to make a standard card trick far more powerful.

Wow, that's a beauty. I just learned another Si routine. Thanks, Greg. Great acting b.t.w. 👏 You had me going. You fooled me real bad. How dare you? 😊 I thought we had to pass out suckers at the end of the trick, lol. I don't really care for certain spelling tricks, but this was a killer trick. Yes, i can spell. LOL. I A M A S U C K E R. 😊😅. I thought of the key card method, but the selected card never got below any possible key cards, and then the deck was shuffled. That was the first thing that got me. I will look at my si routines and share one or 2 w you if you dont already know them. But, i will take that chance next year. Lol. Thanks, Greg. Great trick. You could use a marked deck instead of the SI Stebbins method. The "magician in trouble " routine always plays big. You do a terrific job at that. I look so forward to your programs. Thank you!!😊
