Stars, suns, and black holes are truly cosmic mysteries. Stars illuminate our night sky, suns nurture life on planets like ours, and black holes, with their immense gravity, defy our understanding of physics. Each of these celestial bodies plays a unique role in the vast tapestry of the universe, showcasing the incredible complexity and wonder of the cosmos.

The story has already been written and lived dozens, perhaps hundreds of times before. The few stories that survived are taken as myths, unbelievable tales from the past that could not be true. However they mirror what you see today and the end of the story is the part we all want to experience. Nobody thinks about the souls that lived in the middle of the stories, just a filler between the beginning and the end. Those souls had it the best but were forgotten, the ones at the end are the stars of the show. That is you.. and me… simply look out your window to see.

I love studying the sun and other stars. It is amazing that the sun is actually getting hotter and brighter as it ages. The normal inclination would be to assume it would get cooler. I once heard a researcher say that at some time roughly 4 billion years from now, there will be a final good day on earth. But as it grows hotter, the earth will become unlivable, and least in above ground life. It is responsible for life on this planet, we are its life forms. What blows my mind is that we wonder if we are alone in the universe, and yet it is already mind-boggling enough that even we are actually here. Imagine this, we find ourselves on a small world, around a slightly bigger than average G type star in this galaxy. Then we find out there are roughly 100 billion stars in this galaxy, then Hubble discovers that we are among literally billions of other galaxies. But, we ARE the aliens. Just the fact that we exist and are aware of ourselves and the universe is so mind-blowing.

Your enthusiasm for astronomy and the existential questions it raises is truly infectious! The sun's increasing temperature over time is indeed a counterintuitive but fascinating aspect of stellar physics. As a star like our sun ages, its core contracts and heats up, causing its outer layers to expand and shine more brightly. This process will eventually render Earth uninhabitable, a stark reminder of our planet's finite lifespan in the cosmic timeline. Your reflection on our existence in this vast universe is equally thought-provoking. The realization that our sun is just one of billions in the Milky Way, which itself is one among billions of galaxies, underscores the enormity of the universe. This perspective makes the existence of life on Earth, and our awareness of the cosmos, all the more remarkable. It's a humbling and awe-inspiring thought that we, on our little planet, have the capacity to ponder our place in this immense universe. The search for extraterrestrial life continues to be a significant quest in astronomy and space science, driven by the same curiosity and wonder that you express. Our understanding of the universe and our place in it continues to evolve, offering endless opportunities for discovery and amazement.

Dark Matter is real. It is matter to small to see with a telescope but we know something is there because it's gravity is affecting other bodies. This is how we discovered some of the planets in our solar system. Dark energy is nothing more than a theory with no evidence for being real.
@ashleyobrien4937
@ashleyobrien4937 5 ай бұрын
no, no, no "pushing" possible neither light nor Neutrino's have mass. Also Dark mater/energy are not facts, they are just ideas. Nothing with mass can travel at the speed of light. E=MC2. Which basically means more speed, more mass (kinetic energy), thus absolute speed=absolute mass..not possible.

How are "you" not concerned with our Sun now appearing Orange and Blurry?? Methane blocks blue !ight waves creating the Orange Sun and Skyline!
@MatheMatiks
@MatheMatiks 5 ай бұрын
The appearance of the Sun as orange and blurry can be influenced by various atmospheric conditions, not necessarily indicating a significant underlying problem. For example, increased atmospheric pollution, dust, or smoke can scatter sunlight, causing the Sun to appear more orange and less clear. This effect is particularly noticeable during events like wildfires or in heavily polluted areas. While it's true that certain gases like methane can affect the scattering of light waves, leading to changes in perceived color, it's important to consider other factors as well. These include the angle of the Sun in the sky, atmospheric composition, and local weather conditions. The perception of the Sun's color can vary depending on these and other environmental factors. However, if there is a significant and sustained change in the appearance of the Sun, it would be a subject of study and concern for astronomers and atmospheric scientists.

@@MatheMatiks Hey, I am always looking to put a happy face on most situations? But never when it tempers or delays appropriate response.We already know that Co2 and Methane levels are The only thing in our atmosphere that has any bearing on temperature regulation. Of course there are more particles of other gases, helium,argon, etc. While Nitro and Oxygen" do" absorb" Blue light. The Levels of both gases has not increased. In fact due to the warming ocean. The microorganisms that create oxygen are dying off reducing Oxygen levels. Once again it's only Methane and Co2 levels that have shot straight up any accurate graph their is.The only reason the world isn't in a full Panic mode is Big Oil/Business now Controls/IS our government.And Owns the Media. It funny how scientists, and theorists, talk as if they have been to the sun and explored it, but they assume, and theorize, what evidence proves their theory. We have not explored Earth's core, we don't know what effect removing all of the oil will have on our planet.
@MatheMatiks
@MatheMatiks 3 ай бұрын
Scientists use observations, experiments, and theoretical models to understand phenomena like the Sun's properties or Earth's core, despite not having physically explored these places. These methods provide evidence to support theories, but there is always more to learn and understand, especially about complex systems like Earth's geology and the impact of human activities such as oil extraction.

The sun provides the energy necessary for the survival of most life forms, influences weather patterns, and even impacts our daily rhythms. While modern society may not worship the sun in the same way as ancient cultures, its importance cannot be overstated.
