Speaking of Taylor and Travis, I think people are doing the most. Why am I seeing them on itv news?!!
@GeteMachine9 ай бұрын
Its weird but its like a centipede. Where if she is talked about, people get views, more random people want views, they jut talk about her and all feed off each other to talk about her, and that gives her free publicity ontop of her billions and companies now want a piece of it. Now she is the mainstream thing, even out of touch daytime TV shows, and normies talk about to think they're with the in-crowd. Taylor had no tie to the NFL before this, but now she became the center of it. Now she is just a walking ad.

Kind of disrespectful to me how the media was saying that Taylor Swift stole the show and the NFL thanking her for her presence, when she wasn't even part of it herself was pretty glaring. Usher, HER, Ludacris, and Alicia Keys were not marketed as the stars of the Superbowl but sidelined for the media to just awe with Taylor being in the audience and simply guessing if she will show up for Travis, instead of even the half-time show itself. You hear pretty much nothing comparable to the actual performers, but just more thrown attention at Taylor's reactions from the bleachers. Even the cutaways to her on the screen. Like fr. The Taylor Swift overexposure is real.

Taylor does have something to gain from the relationship. Her previous bf, Matty Healy is a racist who often participates in misogynoir. She was heavily criticized for dating him so they broke up in June 2023. Three months later she and Travis officially announce they’re dating. Travis is an all American athlete who’s been very palatable for sponsorships and media relations. TS definitely benefits from dating Travis🙄 We all instantly forgot about Matty Healy. Edit: I seem to be wrong about Matt healy being right wing, but he’s definitely not the leftist or progressive he claims to be in his views.
@GeteMachine9 ай бұрын
Yeah. Now that I think about it does seem like purely PR. Her people went from saying her and Matt Healy were happily dating to that "they were never dating." So they are probably promoting this random NFL player as her clean up. This might be the most, promoted relationship she's had since.

@sav7159 ай бұрын
yeah, i have very mixed feelings for her. because she’s SO famous and elite there is no way she is not aware of the atrocious abuse happening in hollywood. she barely speaks out about politics or anything that actually matters. and she doesn’t have an obligation to do that, but i also can’t really respect her cowardice and fear of losing money by speaking the truth and helping people. she could change so much with her influence. she also does not gaf about the environment. anyone that rich has to be selfish to an extent. way too long of a rant lmao but im in a ranting mood today
@dotcom30159 ай бұрын
With pop stars, I think they have to be calculated and inorganic to some extent. A lot of things can go viral but not everyone can capitalize on it like Olivia Rodrigo. And with the biggest names like Taylor, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Ariana, Selena, etc, they’d have to be very strategic in order to stay relevant for as long as they did. And with how streaming and views work, it’s hard to judge what is and isn’t organically popular

She is. Her PR was quick to push that photo of her and Celine Dion after people were roasting Taylor ignoring her and how she was over the AOTY award she was pretending to be so shocked over, yet she right then knew she could promote her next album. Like a coincidence? No. Or how they go from saying Taylor and Matt Healy's cringy ass were in-love when it started, then post-controversy, claiming they weren't actually dating. Now Taylor is suddenly besties with Ice Spice, after having Ice Spice remix one of *her* songs to help her coincidentally stay relevant on the billboard with all the others Coincidence?

@@sav715i’d like to talk about the “politics” part bc you’re so right. She was crying, with a red bloated face, in Miss Americana bc her team didn’t want her to talk about politics, but when she HAS to talk about it there comes just radio silence. She used the feminist and lgbtq+ movement to gain public in 2019 bc after that she has never spoken again to help. She never said anything about the BLM movement nor the current Palestine masacre. Sooo all of that just makes me think she had never really cared about those topics but just for her image to reach certain demographic. I used to love her, i grew up with her and her music, i learned english bc of her because i wanted to understand her lyrics and interviews, but since i started being interested into social topics and movements, my image of her is very low and she looks to me like a non-morals persons, she just does what helps her gain some coins, and that’s disgusting and sad :(((

Don't worry about the Gen Z bashing. As a Millennial, I remember my generation getting the brunt of the ridicule not too long ago. It'll pass. The youngest generation coming into adulthood always gets made out to be the worst because they've developed their own culture that older folks don't understand, and of course the bad apples are always used to represent the whole group. I do think Taylor is doing it for attention. I mean, if you really didn’t want everyone to get every pic, every angle, then just don’t expose your relationship so much. Zendaya and Tom do so.

Omg as a 19 year old Gen z I’m grateful that at a young age, I got to enjoy the art of Usher, Alicia Keys, and Ludacris (I knew H.E.R a little later after them) Also thanks to my parents ❤️ I was 100% happy to see each and everyone of them.
@lessismore85338 ай бұрын
Gen Z is TOO young to have experienced these artists peaks in the early 2000s. They were toddlers. Like you said your parents probably played them on radio because other than that you guys were in grade school weren’t you?
@bi.fruitsalad8 ай бұрын
@@lessismore8533 Yes, that’s why I said it. I grew up with these artists thanks to mom and dad lol. Same goes for most performers at the Super Bowl throughout the years. But still, I think Gen Z and below should recognize when people have made a big impact like these legends. They’re the ones who deserve to perform, regardless of the newer artists being loved.

I’m a fan of Taylor but I’m not watching no damn football game to see her. I’m not in her business but even I’m sick of seeing her everywhere! I was at work closing last night and when I had my break the only updates I saw of the game was about Taylor. I think these accounts keep posting her because of the engagement. The more people say they don’t care on their accounts, the more they’re seen. I’m sure Taylor didn’t give a shit that ABC, Fox, and other media were posting her. They’re doing it because they get more engagement.

Taylor Swift and Travis's relationship is a PR relationship. they are never annoyed when too many cameras are around. The coverage on their relationship was definitely forced. It gave PR relationship.
