I read very similar stuff about the M18. I also read that tankers knew that regardless of the tank they were engaging it was most likely able to penetrate so the lack of armor wasn’t really an issue.

M18s were intended to race to positions and prepare in reaction to an enemy attack, they were not intended to go racing around the frontlines to the flanks. Indeed, thats precisely the sort of thing you want a lot of armour for, as you will encounter AT guns around the enemy frontlines. GMCs like the M18 and M10 should be thought of as AT guns that can quickly locate themselves, not as offensive weapons in their own right

You can take some surprising shots to the lower face, but anything in the middle will just vaporize your whole crew.

Btw, that shot to the side of the Tiger 2 seems to be legit. I have seen many simulations of that exact scenario, and essentially, you are trying to shoot along the track overhang plate, which is why game counts nonpen. (The round would probably deflect in reality, and fuck up the track)

They could fix the fuse for aphe so it explodes at the proper spot and has the correct fuse moments. This would give solid shot a reason to be taken. I love the editing Spookston and I hope to see more funny edits (please God give me metal pipe sfx) Also Spookston, as an avid Super hellcat user, I have to say that the 90 mm really helps when shooting tigers side on. Those side skirts, on both tiger 1 and tiger II, eat 76 mm like nothing if you're slightly angled, so the better penetration really helps to stop that.

7:40 I think Tiger should have little armor between crew and engine compartment, but now it seems to have just a plate with 0mm effective thickness over there. Seems to be a common issue with WWII era tanks, but often you'll hit engine, raditor or fuel with what you have available.

CAs seriously needs to be addressed the abuse is making this game literally unplayable and it doesn’t make sense to me why people abuse it and take just planes basically to a TANK game mode. The only reason I can think of is they are so garbage and trash and cannot learn to progress and then resort to nooby and cheap tactics like CAs abuse because it’s the only way these people are able to get kills. It’s in serious need of fixing and or nerfing or just removal completely. If our best players cannot combat or do ANYTHING against CAs and you see our best players just being slaughtered and they haven’t got a chance to do anything because it’s simply not fair and borderline cheating. People are a joke or in denial of being a shitty player if they think it’s fair. I’ve simply stopped playing because it’s to the point where CAs noobs target spawn. You cannot do anything against it and anti air is redundant and useless against this abuse. I’m done until this is fixed because of entire teams hiding in airplanes and ruining entire games it’s not even getting killed by them at this point it’s the fact we have entire teams that feel obligated to hide in an airplane the entire time in a game mode not intended for.

Play the Wirbelwind and stand in a capture zone. Partially empty clips get auto reloaded so you can have a continuous stream of bullets because the auto refill is faster than emptying the clip
