I had such high hopes for this movie - LOVE Super Mario Bros games, love the music , although TBH the increasingly faster pace of the music as you get near the end of a world makes me sweat haha. But the movie was meh for me, didn't keep me engaged, and it wasn't playing at my local theater very long, so I'm guessing the audiences here felt the same as we did (although I'd rank it a bit higher, but it's not my place to rank this.) Just hoping they don't make a Part 2, bc really, what would the point of that be?
