This film look really fun, this movie feel like it going in the sonic movie route (in a good way) by having an original story that incorperates a ton of easter eggs that dont feel forced which i dont mind considering i really enjoyed both sonic movies Plus, it a good marketing stragety to appeal to both old fans while bringing in new fans to this franchise and consdering both sonic movie were very profitable, it would make sense to follow those movies blueprints. I know people dont like chris pratt mario voice, but i honestly quite like it, the rest of the cast sound great too from this trailer. There a line from i think super mario 64 ( i've not play the game), where mario spins boswer and thows him while saying "so long, gay bowser"which i really hope is in the movie

The way to look at Mario is he seems to be a Rookie. The Mario voice we know may come with a transformation to insanity for a world he isn't used to. Kind of like how Jim Carrey pulled off an Earth Scientist to Eggman insane Robotnik.

That was the tanuki outfit, which is also from Mario 3. The normal raccoon outfit is just the ears and tail. That one is the complete one that lets Mario turn into a statue, as well. You got it right!
