The Super-Sized Pancheros Menu Challenge

For the third stop on our road trip, we were invited to the original Pancheros Mexican Grill location in Iowa City, Iowa to take on Pancheros ENTIRE Menu Challenge! I had one hour to finish a 2lb double chicken burrito, 4 tacos (one chicken, one steak, one carnitas, and one tofu), 1 carnitas quesadilla, one double steak burrito bowl, one double tofu salad bowl, and an order of their blue corn tortilla chips with queso. If successful, I would get my $80 meal for free, a groovy GIFT BOX, and a spot up on their Wall of Fame!

I always end up watching these videos at like 1AM which is like 9 hours into my 18 hour fast. The willpower I have developed since subbing to this channel is indomitable, and I always get a good idea of what I want to eat the next day when the window opens.

18 hours isn't a "fast" it is my normal day as I usually eat dinner around 7pm and then don't eat again until around 2pm or ofter just don't eat again until 7pm the next day. And I don't over eat either. Metabolism slows WAY DOWN once you get over 58

I go to the Pancheros on Kimberly in Davenport. I love how they mix the ingredients before wrapping the burrito -- so you don't end up with just a bite of salsa. sour cream... everything is in every bite.

Holy Sweet Mother Of Thunder! I can't wrap my head around how much Mexican food you just put down. So filling and rich. I would be in the hospital if I ate even a quarter of that meal. You and Randy never cease to amaze me. You two are True pro's in the competitive eating world. WOW and incredible.

I'm 6' 2" and 205 lbs. For breakfast every morning, I eat 5 eggs, a bagel and 3 apples. That's just what fills me up in the morning. You look like you're 5' tall and about 110 lbs (with some serious shoulders...just want to say). I don't understand how what I just watched is possible. You just ate like 10% of your body weight. From a guy that always thought he eats a lot, I just don't get it.

As a native Texan, living in Iowa almost 30 years, that is NOT Tex-Mex, but fast food Americanized Mexican food. But they can call what they want, but it is not Tex-Mex. Love your videos Katina.

It’s Mexican/American food. Unfortunately over the past few years they aren’t as good as they once were. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Last few times I ordered a quesadilla I literally had to pull the 2 sides of the tortilla apart to see if there was actually any cheese 🤦‍♀️ They have become real stingy for a $10+ quesadilla. Like I’m talking a tablespoon of cheese on that quesadilla she ate (that’s the normal size of their quesadilla)

Sometimes I look at these challenges and think "I could do that!", but everyone who knows me knows that 9 times out of 10, I can never finish an entrée and always have to take some home. 😂 One question I have is, for these food challenges, can you just order the meal and not do the challenge and just pay for it? Because a lot of these could be shared between 4+ people and it would be pretty economical!

Pancheros is my favorite ❤ I could eat it everyday and never get sick of it. Here's my burrito order: Cilantro Lime Rice, No Beans, Carnitas, Queso, Cheese, Lettuce, Sour Cream, Hot Tomatillo Salsa Sometimes I get it in a bowl with chips and just eat the whole thing with the chips instead of a fork. Delicious.
