Fair point, from my understanding e ink doesn't make a 7.8 inch Mobius panel, only glass. I'm not 100% sure on this but I think if that is the case hopefully it will change soon as the smaller notetakers are newer to the market.

Launches? It sold out in first few hours apparently. I guess I’ll wait till the A4X comes out. 😂 Is it likely there are more batches to come or is this a single batch thing. e-ink tablets have low demand so is it a case of if you miss out, bad luck?

The UI is not supported in French, but there is handwriting recognition supported in French!

Isn't Ceramic higher that plastic on the Mohs hardness scale? So its great the nib will last but the screens going to get scratched up by it no?

Good question, you are correct about the first part. However, Ratta puts a proprietary film on all Supernote devices called Feelwrite 2, it is self healing and creates a texture that is more akin to Pen on paper 📃 🖊

hex2asc from Supernote told me they have been working on shape generation as well as text boxes. text is significantly harder to do well because it doesnt really map to the vector graphics format they use in the notes files, like they have to render it differently from everything else. will be interesting to see how they do it. Boox's text boxes have been nice to have but have also always been buggy in my experience.

My guess is that a lot more people are making DIY pens now, so if they are selling less premade pens they might have needed to up that cost to balance things out. That or maybe the supplier raised the price?
