I've been a hardcore Slayer fan since about 1985 and I've met Kerry King, I think he might appreciate The Surfrajettes for their talent and who they are. I didn't find out about The Surfrajettes until early 2020. I know that I appreciate and rock out to both Slayer and The Surfrajettes and they both feed me exactly what I need.

I haven't seen her before (first live performance I've attended but I've watched multiple videos). She's really, really good -- solid groove, great tone. I was just super impressed. Except she played almost the whole night with her back to the audience. Overall, a fantastic rhythm section for this show. It was a great live show, rewarding the effort to pay for and go to a live show.

@@woodmansteve8501 Via has adopted this stance at each of the gigs she's played at and has been labelled as 'Sub' on their Instagram Stories clips. The Surfrajettes seldom comment on their personnel but I could conclude that the intention is for Sarah Butler to return.

@Chrisst @Howard Owens I saw them in April at Viva Las Vegas and Sarah was there. She has been missing most of the front leg of their current tour. Heard rumors that she was not feeling well. Hoping she is okay. If you have never seen Sarah live, she is amazing. She and Sam have it 'dialed in' for a tight rhythm section. The best one they have ever had IMO. They start a new leg in August. I will be seeing them on Aug 7. Hoping Sarah is there. Yeah, I see her listed as a 'Sub' also. I assume Via has her back turned to watch Sam. Maybe still getting used to some songs. Via is talented in her own right also.
