I just started this game and realized how difficult the learning curve is. Unless I just suck but jeeze this games hard. I fought that warden in the beginning like 10 times before I finally beat him lol. The game didn't really teach you how to fight at that level then they just toss you into a boss battle haha I was like woahh wait a minute here I need to learn how to fight first!! I've gotten better but it's still hard.

For me once I reached level 3 gear I felt like i had more breathing room. First day i was overwhelmed by level 1s and 2s. And the damn popo squad seemed hard😭 but afterwards I've gotten much better with parrying and fighting multiple enemies at once. At some point I forgot to upgrade facing level 6 mobs still with level 4 gear😂 once you get the speed down and what weapons work best with certain enemies it gets better. Just keep chopping them fuckers up lol

Make use of your charge attacks and cross combos! Charge attacks break shields

Also unless you're prioritizing a specific part of the body to break it for gear, always target the limb without armor. You'll stagger them much more as well as do more damage

I make use of the run and jump attack, might seem dramatic but it is really useful when closing in a distance and doing unaware bonus damage, only thing is you have to time and aim it right, which is basically everything in this game

I can't believe both titles completely flew under my radar until yesterday. I got The Surge 2 last night and played the first 30 minutes or so. It's easy to control and looks nice, but something feels off about the textures, resolution, and FoV. I'm going to get back on it right now. I have high hopes for this Sci-fi Monster Hunter/Souls/Bourne game. 🤘🖤

Just got back in to this game after not touching it for a few months, which I hadn't played it for like a year because the game isn't kind to older graphics cards, so my 1070 struggled. Think I prefer the first one because of that fact there were far less ranged enemies, and the weapon proficiency made me feel like I was always progressing
