I am glad the NC tornado did not do much and was short lived. It would have impacted Camp Lejeune and Memorial Day weekend would have been bad for our Marines and their families stationed there.

Granbury local, we actually did have a tornado touch down in the north west area of Thorp Springs behind/near the G Spot gas station on Hwy 4. It wasn’t destructive, but did give a scare. Only lasted maybe a couple minutes, if that.

18:07 As a resident of Paris Tx and a person who is nearby County Road, that trampoline was probably turned last night / night of May 23. We have not had higher wind or directly bad weather all day while we did have some severe storms last night. I’m sure they just didn’t notice the trampoline was turned till mid day 🤣

Id rather NWS be safe than sorry. Trained spotter probably submited they saw a tornado, and since it was headed over a town NWS Tor-E'd it. The way it looked on radar, and if they had feet on the ground claim it was there, I would have done the same thing.
