No wonder it runs faster than rk3326 devices. I was surpirsed it was running 5-8 fps more on some emulators.

I already have an RG35xx but wanna upgrade to something with joysticks Which one would you recommend, XU10 or R36S? Only requirement I have is something that'll take a custom OS so I can get constant updates

Odds are pretty good the R36S will roll more OS updates since it’s running ArkOS. I havn’t opened mine yet I’ll try and get a video up this weekend

R36S of course. You just insert a wifi dongle in the otg slot then update ArkOS. Simple and easy.

also made by ampown got a proper case with it has got more games on it as we got 256g version in the menu it's showing Xbox gcube Wii etc

Sorry for writing to you. I live in Denmark, everything here is quite a bit more expensive than in other countries. I bought a xu 10 used as I can't afford a new one. now i start it up. it starts as it should. but stops working when i have selected a game. I know that I have to buy a good SD card for it. but is there a place where I can find a new emulator for it, greetings Jakob.

There is new firmware online for it. There is a responsibly of fixes for the handheld github.com/MagicXHandheld/XU10 as well. There is also Nostix github.com/NostixOS/Nostix and I believe there is a JelOS build as well. Hope this helps

can custom roms an emus be added e.g the zx spectrum

Custom roms yes. Emulators will depend on the firmware you run but there are a few options for firmware out there

The XU10 for me is having issues with the joysticks. I have no way to remap them or enter the settings to do so.

Do you know if it’s a retroarch issue? Typically whichever emulator you are using the analog mode has been turned off. Worst case you can reset control settings for the device

@@CellPhish that’s a very good point. Only problem is how can I? In the next hour I plan to go into the system files and see what I can do there, not sure why it’s registering as a D Pad for both, won’t change. I’ve tried all PlayStation Duaslshock games, will not register. Also found a sound glitch on the system, if you try to turn the volume down when it boots, it mutes the whole system until you restart it. It’s pretty bad. Other than that, I haven’t seen many problems. But I mainly wanted this for PSX emulation for some forgotten games. I just need to figure out what I can do soon, I have no intention of sending it back, but I may have to ask for a new unit or ask for instructions on fixing this one.

So Update @CellPhish I tinkered a little bit and came to the conclusion no support for games like Ape Escape, but everything else is fine. G Button is in a bad area so restarting your DS game gets horrible. Same glitch with the sound exists, if you turn it down while its booting, it will mute the entire system. But now, It bricked on me, they partitioned the card, so I have to format the drive, but I dont have the files for the MagicX side, do you have the files by chance and can you share them?
