I made another peppermint shampoo bar tonight. Instead of cocoa butter I used my rendered vanilla infused tallow and instead of the hydrolyzed protein I used emu oil. I love my animal fats❤. The best shampoo bar ever! Thanks Marie

The more compact the bar the less water it will release. I'll keep this in mind. Thanks for the information.

I understand that the bar with the most surface dried out the quickest. But will it not get wet and soft the quickest in the shower? More crevices for water to get into the bar.
@HumblebeeAndMe Жыл бұрын
Yes! Chunkier bars are already more prone to crumbling than the smoother type, and the hand pressed one, with all its nooks and crannies, will be even more vulnerable.
@chantalduplessis5149 Жыл бұрын
Perhaps the larger the water content the more molecules of water have formed hydrogen bonds and thereby the greater the energy needs to disrupt the bonds/dry out the bar?
@2degucitas Жыл бұрын
I wonder what effect the two anionic surfactants have on the cocoa butter? It seems during the wet phase, mashing, forming and drying the surfactants will be emulsifying the butter. Considering many people use shampoo bars to avoid using sulfates, this bar isn't sulfate free, not that I care.

Hi Marie, this is totally off subject....do you have a video that details the electric burner you use? If not, can you do a video or blog post as to what electric burners/plates work best with beakers?

Hi, I live in a very humid environment with causes my shampoo & conditioner bars to sweat even after parking them to dry for nearly a month. I noticed that the more I let them dry, the more they sweat, especially the shampoo bars. Begging for some advise!

i am worried about the noodles not properly dissolved. isn't it too strong? and does it have an effect considering that it is not fully incorporated with the other ingredients? also, isnt SCI not water soluble? so it means it won't dissolve in water/shower. Just my thoughts. Hope someone can answer me. thanks

Hi, Marie (almost my name twin, since mine is Maria lol)! How are you doing? I accidentally came across one of your videos (perhaps it was placed in my way by our Heavenly Father) and, naturally, found out about your channel… I’m not rich, but I definitely come from a “comfortable” background situation, in the sense of in my early 20’s I don’t have an obligation to work as I’m fully aware many young adults are (needed to point this out) and the only thing my parents require me is to focus on my major! However, I started feeling lowkey uncomfortable with relying on my parents/ grandparents this much, so I was asking myself the last few years/ months what could I possibly do to start making some revenue myself! I love skincare, bc the skin is an organ and I find it fascinating to see people changing (for good) not only their mental health but their overall health after diving into skincare… Sorry if this comment took too long (yes, I was an essay kid back at school lol), but my point is: by the valuable content you provide, I realized I can try to start a skincare related small business! It probably won’t make me rich (which’s not my goal with it), but it might help me with small stuff like going to a café I like, buying feminine hygiene, saving something for my future, gifting my younger siblings, going to the movies and etc (without asking my providers money lmao)!! Tysm for your content! God bless you! 😘
