The Colorado Gold Rush started in Idaho, Colorado. The actual gold rush started 10 years before that in California in a town called Coloma.

We've done several trails out in Colorado, including Holy Cross, Red Cone and Wheeler Lake, and try to get out that way at least once a year. I either missed seeing you all in Buena Vista, or didn't recognize you, because Kevin parked the Stepchild right next to me the Friday afternoon that you all were there! No charge for disposable/recyclable bags in MN, but when I visited my daughter in Spain they charged for every bag.

see you went past Leadville area...the safeways are charging for bags as well think its about 10 cents per bag.... love the Lake County / Park county area to go relax. Was just there 2nd week of August for the 11th year straight. Next year going to stay 2 nights in Twinlakes then head to Quray & Teluride for the remaining 6 days.

Nope, Gold Rush Started in Coloma Ca, near Lotus and Georgetown, when James Marshall discovered gold there. There is a really cool historical park with a blacksmith shop in Coloma. Highly recommend the visit.

I'm in Colorado and run tons of trails all over the state. It's crazy because you look up a trail and see videos but when you run the trail it always exceeds what you think it will be. COLORADO delivers. So glad you got to run trails in my state. 😂
