Well I have gone from a tuned BMW 335i with 400 kw, to my 7 new Jimny with 75 Kw. And I love my Jimny too, its a new 2024 Jimny 5 door XL

I just got a brand new 2024 5 door Jimny XL this week, I am not sure how they got through the emissions restrictions with the extra doors and passenger rear seats. They are great little cars. The new longer 5 door is a gem.

As a previous owner of a Gen3 and now of Gen4 I agree with you 100%. It’s not a car for everyone but it is a car for the occasional off-roader / overlander.

It’s amazing what different things cars have in different countries. How JB74 Jimny lite in New Zealand does not have the inside cage and doesn’t come with the old school radio it has the touch screen one instead. The steel wheels are the same and only comes in manual. If you get the G L X which is the sera one comes with the alloy wheels back seat etc

I have the 2019 original steel wheels no sat Nav in Black. Picked up a few dents being parked in street and going rusty underneath, noisy, bouncy, and cramped. just like cars of my youth. Proper Motor! I live in a street with all these abonomation obese SUV's. Jimmy is a real car.

Car is good but because of too much hype before launch by you tubers maruti suzuki overpriced this vehicle. Car is nice but should not deserve higher cost in comparison with Thar. Initially i wanted to buy this one waited long but after launch seeing the over swelled price I oreferred to switch on to Mahindra Thar and bought a 4wd hard Top version of Thar with a lesser price than Gimny
