This is NOT from Swan Lake (Tchaikovsky) but a solo choreographed in 1907 for Anna Pavlova, called "The Swan," or, popularly, "The Dying Swan."

@@treasuretreereynolds1764 If you watch Ms. Lopatkina's performance followed by this one, the difference is stark. It's so beautiful, isn't it? That someone can have that much control of every single muscle, the enormous discipline that it would take is staggering. I love the ballet but I'm just a boring old musician who was once a gymnast! I had to take ballet but ballerinas and gymnasts have completely different body shapes and I was told right off that the ballet wasn't for me; my muscles in the wrong places.

Ye it's a viola, but this is piece was intended for cello tho
@bubble88292 жыл бұрын
It's a viola, not a violin. Although the piece was composed for cello, not violin or viola. And the violist f***s it up and gets behind at 0:54. And he's rarely with the conductor and orchestra otherwise. Might have helped if they'd put him in the pit instead of on the stage for some weird inartistic reason. If he's got that spot on him while he's playing, he possibly can't even see the conductor, poor bugger. Pity all that makes me cringe, because the dancer's interpretation and technique are lovely and individual.
@freakybuzz Жыл бұрын
This is not a good performance at all. The soloist is incompetent, the conductor is utterly disconnected, and the ballerina is a flailing maniac. A dumpster fire. Watch a proper interpretation to experience the real potential of this lovely little piece.

My understanding of science and art. We humans can express our feelings in many different ways much more than any creature ever existed in history to now but also these feelings are like a thin single human hair, very delicate one can make everything green or everything turns into dust. musician, dancer, painters they give shape to their dreams, Imagination, and filling, science do the same in the lab, science, and art is not very different in many ways but some time prediction little bit different art is very sensitive so we see what we want to see. And thank you for music and the dance
