I love their hard work so muchh.. expecially Jiwon and Chengxiao who always get high expectation and harsh words
@Mgaby19927 жыл бұрын
I was in shock when Cheng Xiao passed. She was the one with the most harsh comments in my opinion so i figured she wouldnt have passed, but im so proud of her! Im so proud of everyone!! And one thing that made me extremely happy is that the ones that didnt pass are given a second chance to re-audition! The way they worded the judging was harsh, like "IF YOU DIDN'T PASS, YOURE NOT PERFORMING AT ALL!" When that wasnt the case at all, they still have a chance of performing with the re-audition. But I'm mostly proud of Yoonah. She really impressed me and like that man said, she really did have the physical appearance of a ballerina! She did so amazing and i was clapping like a seal when she finished her performance! I knew she was going to pass.

It really annoys me on any platform of auditions or any other place where the judges have the opportunity to critique, when they say sooooo many things to fix to the first person, but to the second person there will be compliments among a small amount of critiques for the second person. And yet it's the first person who will get the better score and get in. Im not staying they shouldnt critique, but i am saying that if they want then to genuinely get better, let the first girl know what she's done right and give the second more constructive criticism without being an a** Imo

As a former ballerina, I think it's common for the judges to do that, especially about losing weight. and as for some members they rlly need to learn the real basics first, like their points aren't that good. but I have to admit the judges are so impolite and heartless, it's fine to say that to ballerinas but they're just celebrities that are trying their very best in midst off the busy schedule. its normal for ballerinas to get told off like that but the judges need to keep in mind that they aren't. and sure I'm also mad about the way they treated the swans.
@vinevillalba8647 жыл бұрын
Giselle Arielle 👍 I agree. I was in a company before too and I eventually got used to criticisms and just focused on what I need to do, it's a good training ground for the outside world. 😂

Yeonjae must have been having flashbacks from her RG days where she had a strict diet. Imo she's still skinny. On a side note, I feel like the judges gave valid criticism. Like Chengxiao should only move by her joints and be more stiff. If I were in their position, I would have whole heartedly take the criticism given to me. It was nice how it was constructive rather than, 'your face is pretty' or something that didn't have to do with their dancing at all
@ongnielisscience17747 жыл бұрын
Tina I think Chengxiao was crying because of the emotions inside her building up. I used to auditions a couple of times too, the nervousness and pressure also the criticisms added up together that made her cry or maybe she was disappointed with herself too. I felt some sort of sympathy toward her for her first time auditioning also she wasn't majored in ballet so it's understandable.

I think the judges try to show how ballet really is instead of going soft because they are celebrities. I don't feel mad about them but I do think the consolation words are the end were absolutely needed. After all the swans are not professional and they gave everything to be on the show
@anhho19977 жыл бұрын
I don’t feel like the judges were too harsh they obviously were impressed by the swans but they have to judge like a professional. Since The dance company will have a certain standard for the dancers since it’s their reputation. And with that 3 of them passed and 3 reaudition is a great result for me. I see the judges really want to help them out by consider about their potential and let them re audition

It's harsh for Cheng Xiao since she's not even a full time ballerina. She debuted as an idol not ballerina. 😒😒😒

Anaria John it’s harsh for everyone. Some never even did dance before. At least Chen’s Xiao majored in Chinese dance for a long time. Also None of them were actual ballerinas except one. And although yeonjae is a rhythmic gymnast, gymnastics is ultimately different than ballet, yes there’s ballet techniques involved but gymnastics is still different from ballet.

Chen xiao is literally the busiest out of all of the swans . She is constantly performing just because she is flexible and did chinese classical dance 8 years ago don’t mean shit. The other swans have more time on their hands because they’re not constantly traveling and going on stage. The judges judged her way too harshly just because she has “dance background”

As a ballerina, I think the judges had in mind the backgrounds of every dancer. About the harsh comments, in ballet you always gonna get those comments lol like the judge said: ¨I hate to say those things, but I have no other choice¨. It's stressful but Its the only way you can grow up and learn. I like that they get the opportunity to have an audition and play a role, I mean yes some of them needen a little more of practice but is what this show is about, let ballerinas from different backgounds an opportunity to dance. And comparing of the first episodes they improved a lot, specially Yonnah I was surprised by her.

I see there are lots of people who watch this because they knew someone before the show:) I just found it in rommendations and it's sooo good, I truly wonder why there are only 20-70k views for this show. Jiwon instantly became my favorite one, she's been in this industry much more than any of the swans yet she's still very down to Earth, always tries to help other girls when they struggle. I feel like judges never say anything good to her (ofc, they expect from her a lot) but I think there must be not only constructive criticism but also a little bit of encouragement (though others get it a lot). The more advanced girls are the more critics they get (happened also to Cheng Xiao). Other than that, all girls are awesome and interesting to watch. THANKS FOR ENG SUBS!

@icedmocha52647 жыл бұрын
fries well it's not that they can't do it. It's that it will hurt them in the long run and it's more dangerous to do it when you are heavy. Ballet requires you to be thin. Otherwise the lines just look sloppy. If you want to succeed in ballet you have to sacrifice a lot including losing weight.
@buscaquenoestoy6 жыл бұрын
Well none of the swans will do anything with ballet. It's just a hobby. Their weights are perfect and their lines beautiful. Sure, technique wise some suck but that's just repetition and classes and training all over again. The same goes for lean muscles, it's not a question of weight, it's just their muscles aren't elongated enough which comes with the specific ballet training. Also, you can do pointe being in a healthy weight without suffering any injuries or putting stress on your joints as long as you develop the proper technique.

I like the fact that the judges are so harsh and they don't care about the show. For them it's real. It's a show they have to put on. They cannot be soft spoken and be lighter on these dancers (and yes I say dancers cause that's what they are here) just cause of a show. They started this knowing that it's gonna be hard and if they expected the judges or anyone to go easy on them cause they're celebrities, they shouldn't even have started. This show was made to show the hardships of a ballerina and because the girls wanted to be a ballerina or something similar. Just my opinion.

looking at the comments, I think a lot of people here haven't done school sports or something that has a judge. How can you improve when all you hear are compliments and sugar coated critiques? The best performers in the world have gone through Hell to become where they are now. I remember my team getting yelled at and criticized 80% of the time, but we became the best in state cause of it! Judges are not trying to destroy you or bring you down, they are just being blunt and telling it to you how it is because they WANT you to succeed. You think judges enjoy seeing people try hard at things and fail? Think again.

@@Alice-cb7jg I went to national dance academy. No, in my experience, that's just how we work it in the academy. I don't care whatsoever view on what we had. The think is, we produced international level dancers, some of us win world tournaments and performed in prestige shows . Result speaks. Although I do believe some jury/judges were bought but bought or not, their attitude are all the same at world level. I do appreciate and never have regret of my experience there. It build me of what I am today. I do dance professionally for 10 years now, mostly ballet and bharatanatyam. Now, I'm already have my own small dance academy, teaching teenagers and adults to appreciate the arts. Here at the academy, we used soft and warmth approach as we are dealing with non-professional dancers. Hence it suits the purpose and objective. However, whenever my former school invite me to be jury or judge, I will be as strict as hell in order to press for the finesse talent there is. This is important that the students will understand the reality that they will face in real world. FYI, this is how real world works. If you are not it, they will cut you out. I went to auditions and performed for shows everywhere during my years as performer. USA, Hungary, France, Russia (where the most hellish, notorious 'groups' are), Italy etc... *None of them apply soft hearted, warmth welcoming hug dear. They just nod callously if they want you, and won't even look at you if they think you are a trash. Nobody will shed smile and praise you for your effort to even be there as a foreign contestant.* So, we can only cross finger as we don't get fucked up and hope for the best, the entire time.
