This song blew me away at the time, my fave from the Practical Jokers album. Absolute brilliant chorus, love Phills typical multi track vocals and super guitar playing and sound, Rickenbacker of course. 40 years on, I still love it and it's on high rotate in my faves list on spotify. Been having a huge deep dive lately of the Swingers and early Judd Enz catalog, been fantastic. Thank you Phill, much respect.

Brilliant song. Up there with their very best. Guitar is sparkling and cascading. Reminds me of PIL's Public Image and XTC's best. No doubt, huge influences on Phil Judd. Saw them live a lot, the Windsor Parnell, Liberty Stage, Mainstreet etc.

Great, great pop song - gorgeous guitar playing and sounds, fab production and a splendidly crafted pop sensibility. This was the single that should have been released after Counting The Beat - I still have the 7" vinyl of this, which takes pride of place in my collection to this day. Thanks Phil

Wow! Thanks Phil, for the music. Until now all I could find was the (amazing) Counting The Beat video. My old punk band covered that song. It's great to see these other videos. The Swingers rule...Oh and Split Enz too! Epic band!

I saw these guys in 81 at the Cook so f.. amazing. Hate that expression, ahead of their time. They were so good on so many levels, before that Counting the Beat nonsense. I bet Phil hated that song. They were a future of NZ music that never happened. No one got it. I did.
