I'm trying to listen to what you're saying, but my brain is screaming at you go close the lid on that hook box as it's starting to rain.

Thanx Todd. I need to throw the wobble head in more situations. A quick hint: cut the hook off of old wobble heads then use 2 split rings on the loop and hook of choice.

Great setup I used in Tennessee last year as a co angler cashed two checks in two tournaments using it 👍

I keep one tied on all year round. I’ve had so much success throwing it on rocks, around stumps and yes in grass. I wish you hadn’t shared that secret.

The proper rod and reel speed combo is the key for the swing head. Took a while to find the right combo but once I did. Money!

I keep a few Biffle heads and love them. I agree not all hooks are created equal. But I gotta be honest. I cringe when I see designs like this that I quite literally imagined in my head this last spring on Eufaula. 😅 I paired them with some crazy looking creature baits from 10000 fish and lizards and found a ton of success dirty or clear water. The versatility is game changing I’ll have to try it out!✌️

I’ve fished with Biffle and watched him win with it and I struggle to get bit on it ,,It’s me probably 👍

I've never had a hook come off of them but I have had several wires break on hang ups and fish. That said, being able to put my hook of choice on a swing head is key. I don't know what all of these companies go with ewg hooks that have the hook point inline with the line tie. It's retarded. It would be great if Strike King would make one with the structure head shape that I could put my own hook. I've been digging the new gamakatsu ones that come without a hook because of the head shape.

Todd how do you set your go pro up on your windshield and record all day? I run a skeeter also but the old school cigarette lighter deal is in mine and it don't hold it popsout all the time. Do you use the suction cup or the tape stuff on your windshield? Thanks man

My team partner throws the light weight ones a ton with swimbaits or menace grubs on them, great swimming action with the free hook

Same... Especially a lighter weighted one with a swimbait or a grub. Definitely smash them on it .. 🤙💪

The cool thing about this head along with the look ahead sonar is u can see how they react to the bait and keep different sizes and change em until they trigger. Adjust the size of the bait, rate of fall. You can then throw the Perfect bait

Normally, I don't care to hear pro anglers talk about sponsors products, however, every once in a blue moon one of you guys shares a lure with us that really makes sense on a really fundamental level. You can rest assured that I'll be getting some of these very soon. 👍🇺🇸

Good video. One point you missed. You can cover a variety of depths with one rod whereas with a crank you need several rods out. Think ditches and sharp depressions. I love creeping them over a slight drop. About 2/3 of my strikes are as you mentioned-line moving off; but the other 1/3, the bass smoke it. Don’t know how many times I think I have a giant but it’s just an aggressive 1 lber!

Really good for fishing boat ramps also. But like you said don’t pigeon hole it, it works in many places. Like you I generally only throw 3/4 oz.

Love the swinging head jig. Another benefit is with the hook articulation I feel like the landing percentage is better than with a traditional style jig. I also like fishing deep offshore and using a regular straight shank hook, when you can get away with an exposed hook the hookup percentage goes way up.

Yeah man it's a cool design... I feel like I'm fishing for the same fish as a Carolina rig or football jig so I don't throw it as much but I have noticed days where they just want this over a Carolina rig or jig and it's normally like they're eating this like 5 to 1... I don't understand why they want this over the other 2 but I don't argue with them I just throw it. Personally I love it mid summer on Toledo Bend and Rayburn and my favorite bait by far is a magnum rage bug or even a big rage swimmer. Great video as always keepem coming brother!!!

I like it at night with the magnum rage bug. Night time it just helps me feel the bite better with the heavier weight since you can’t watch your line. I tend to slow it down a lot more then.
