Well, I really would only use it on the switch lite, if you use it on the switch (standard) then when you put it into your dock the screen protector will literally be melted. So, use a screen protector on the switch lite, but not on the standard switch.

I got the hybrid case, and I love it. The only take away when using this case is that it dosen't fit many carrying cases. I had to get a ordinary looking black case from Best Buy, that fit my switch lite, while in the hybrid case. Other than that, if you are an active person, and things fall out pockets often, then I suggest you get this case.

I got the white official case and it looks so good with the turquoise Lite. Hand grips I don't feel are needed as the console is quite lite, slim and comfortable so I would not waste my money on that. Buy only if you get hand cramps easily.

Paradise Productions I’m guessing you never owned a vita with one. It was a godsend. Protects the sticks to avoid drift issues coming faster then they should and keeps the screen from damage without being much weight added so you can keep it in your pocket without worry ever I wouldn’t be so mad about the lite not really having one in America when the vita had it so it should be a no brainier for Hori

Yeah a lot of reviewers are going crazy about it but a lot of people are complaining about the drift and the smaller screen. Everyone has their own opinion though about the Switch Lite which they are welcome to. No one complained about the 3Ds being 200$ with a much smaller screen.

I got it for handheld mode only while my OG switch is docked. Now I don’t have to carry my huge satisfye case with my 30 games in there. It’s decent.... still makes my hands cramp and I DONT want to add anymore bulk to it with grips... but it’s looking like I’m gonna have to so that’ll kind of defeat the purpose I got it for In the first place. I want a quick, pocket fitting system, in and out my pocket no hassle. Oh and Let’s not get into the transferring save data from one console to another.

Save data is probably the only issue. As long as you can sign in with your original account, any games you downloaded before will be there to redownload on the eshop (go to your archives), including your wishlist I believe. Less certain on the latter because I either no longer had one because I ended up buying the games I wanted off of it already or I never made one. If you bought the digital versions - including the dlc packs - you don't have to pay again. Which is a freaking godsend. Took forever to redownload but I didn't lose hundreds of dollars worth of games

I put 10 hours into the Dragon Quest XI demo on my OG switch so I can start the full game off where I left off and I really want to play it docked so that’s okay, but what if I need to go somewhere that requires an hour or more and I feel like playing Dragon Quest on my lighter system without having to pack my whole case? I won’t be able to continue from the save point I left off on my docked switch. So now I have to pick and choose which games to play on what console when my full game comes in the mail. I just wish it was seamless and easy.

The Hori cases seem to be the best at the moment. It’s strange they only make two colours though: one for the yellow, one for the blue, but not one for the grey. At least I can’t find one.

Been playing with the grip at 12:38 all weekend.Dunno how he was getting that when playing hard your hands will stick to the plastic,it feels pretty dam good and only cost me 14 dollars on Amazon.If you want to be nitpicky about not seeing the switch logo or not having easy access to the memory card i guess those are flaws but personally neither of those things bother me,in fact i like the looks of the grip when used ona black lite system.

You should just read the instructions that come with the cases. There will be certain scenarios whereby the cases have a certain way of using it, and not following said instructions will end up scratching the unit.

I have the same brand screen protector you recommend on my normal switch. It's really nice, but I got it mainly because of potential scratches from docking. After getting the switch light, I realized how much clearer the image is without the screen protector, which makes it look a bit grainy. As long as I have a case, I think I'll go without one, as it will always be in there if I'm not playing.

It uses the exact same analog sticks as the original Switch. When drift starts you'll have to be capable of replacing them yourself or send it to Nintendo.

I'm not going to lie here. The Switch Lite looks very good... But here's the problem. Nintendo console or not, any handheld with a built in Analog stick will eventually suffer drift to some degree. The joycons of the original Switch, can be replaced, as well Nintendo is obligated to fix them if they do break. The Lite is a whole new beast. I believe the Whole point of the Switch, in the first place, was to Be a console that can "switch" between handheld and docked TV mode. Unless you play only handheld mode, I'd say this is something that could easily get a pass. Not to say you couldn't own both. I've considered that. But, personally, I think this is a bit of regression. There are some pluses, including battery life. Which is one issue with undocked Switch, but there are ways to alleviate that as well. The Lite seems to be an awesome way to have a handheld console in this modern era! And far better than any DS/Gameboy... But for my purposes, you can't beat the original.
