I think it's interesting that the most powerful psychedelic (5-MeO-DMT) is produced by the skin of a frog. This substance is often referred to as the "god molecule." The metaphor of losing something important, like the golden ball, suggests that one must let the frog into their house; one must embark on a psychedelic journey and embrace chaos to find a connection with the divine. The frog, being a physical creature that contains this psychedelic compound, lives both on land and in water. It represents the ability to retrieve the golden ball from chaos while also existing in the physical realm. So like Jonnathan says: the frog is the transition between worlds. It's a bridge between water and land or between the spiritual realm and the physical realm. Could this be part of the symbolism associated with frogs? There are other frogs known for their poisonous, psychedelic, and medicinal properties as well.

Lying in bed and in my minds eye for some reason i was in the jungle hanging off a pipe that was over a black hole and i was surrounded by frogs and there were frogs in the hole.... later i had another vision of frogs so i decided to look up the meaning. I am finally over coming certain addictions, i met a girl i fell for but who i cant be with and don't want to be with anyway, its been like a catalyst for me to change... i don't want to feel like this its annoying.

Well technically the stone was the container of his soul. Well, the whole ring was the horcrux, but the stone was part of the ring. So you could say, that the snitch contains part of his soul, because it contains part of the horcrux.

Had a dream this morning about a frog infestation. Approached a shopkeeper in the dream to ask advice, he said he must close his shop and travel far away with his family, he claimed it was sent by the devil, but I asked why he claimed that, and didn't receive an answer. Yes! It’s a writer’s job to research these things while writing. The only time a writer, or any other artist, is NOT aware, is if they are in a flow state. Flow state can call up symbols from your own subconscious, and the collective subconscious.
