Gonna jump right out and explain a few things. FIRST, yes the video is as intended. I'm having problems with my editing software because i updated from DavinchiResolve 17 to 19. Some of my plugins broke/work differently and one of them was the waveform generator i used. It will be back next video when i fix it but feel free to let me know if you prefer it this way. SECOND, why so long between uploads? I was having a shit week and could, NOT, muster the energy to upload. Sorry, am better now. THIRD, This video may seem like context or information is missing at certain parts. That's because it is, this was a rerecording because the original got corrupted the first time me and Steve tried it and I deleted the original script to declutter things. So crappy remake essentially.

The really interesting thing about the First Contact War is that the Systems Alliance forces were trading on a 1:1 rate with the Taurian forces. This was a big thing to the Council Races, as even the Krogan had a negative exchange rate with the Taurian military. It was a major reason why the Council treated the humans with kids gloves, as the Alliance would be costly to conquer. They could do it, but they would deplete their military heavily to do it.

I also do not recall every hearing that we had an overwhelming numerical advantage. the conversation you can have with admiral ahern during me1 pinnacle station dlc and the mission you get to play if you beat everything else suggests the opposite. ahern and his gropu and the face constant reinforcement. most of our numbers on shanxi were civilians not military personal which were the the targets of their orbital bombardments. so really the only advantage we had is the turians arrogance to assume that what they found was the bulk of a military, and the Turians dextro protein diet.

At an average speed of 2.5 weeks PER SHIP BER BERTH(We had 18 shipyards doing parallel building. Not sure how many berths.) The biggest limitation was not enough steel being delivered to the shipyard. The limitation wasn't even manpower. This was in 1944. This was just one nation, albeit a big one. Give 200 years advancement and an entire world with a focus like that and you could probably build just like that again, but with 40 shipyards. Battleship/dreadnaughts would take a bit longer. But if we had to, I can totally imagine a shipyard throwing one together in less than a year.

Humanity has the largest population of any race in the galaxy. 11 billion on earth alone with a large number of colonies both in and outside of citadel space. more over we likely spread into the colonies and planets of the other races. and while we have a rather large military force (though not at large as the turians) only 3% of the human population actively serve in the alliance miliatary. During the Blitz, we did the thing that the council had feared about us from almost day one. when we were attacked our civilians picked up guns and defended Elysium with their lives. they didn't fear our 330 million soldiers the feared what we might do with the remaining 10.7 billion potential soldiers we have that could potentially be activated at a moments notice.

Mass Effect: Babylon 5, but the Mirror Universe version. Humanity got shafted in the Mass Effect equivalent of the Washington Naval Treaty. So they just went IJN. Even the doctrine is similar to Kantai Kessen. Attrit the enemy to the point where you will win the decisive battle, then do the decisive battle.
@saqwana253 ай бұрын
The naval treaty was actually created after the krogan rebellions if I recall. Humanity was added to it after the 🥇 rat contact war.

the other races may have started using carriers but only AFTER the alliance introduces them them to the galaxy. the carrier is a uniquely human invention ... kinda like medigel. but as others have said the Treaty of Faraxin wasn't imposed on the humans by the Turians. It has been the law of the land for over a thousand years when the Turians joined the citadel council after defeating the Krogan. the treaty essentially establishes the 5:3:1 ratio of dreadnoughts between the Turians: Council races: non-council races. this shifts the burden of defense on the turians from the other council races and ensures that no other non-council race like the krogan can attempt to take over the galaxy like the krogan did.

As a whole, the fan made speculative art of post-3 ships for Mass Effect (especially Systems Alliance ships) have really stood out to me. I've seen this done with countless settings but its generally forgettable even if competent imo.

I think the reason they are supposed to work in ME is because the main guns are in fixed positions facing forward because of how big they are. This means that PD are a lot weaker letting the fighters be able to outmanuever the larger ships.

Why should Super mega dreadnought carry other dreadnought, like a Starfighter needs carrying because , they don't have jump \ warp drives or long time fuel and weapons , they just go brrr and come back reload refuel and go brr again , dreadnought don't need another dreadnought to carrythem , unless they are a shipyard or dockyard or repairship It's like , a bigasse man carrying another big asse man , Only reason could be as a transport like how a Amphibious assault ship carrier tanks , there should be a good reason for a dreadnought to carry another dreadnought ,
