What I like about most other watch reviews I've seen from you is that you're reviewing something that you have a good amount of personal experience with. That sets your reviews apart from a lot of others, as I don't feel that a watch review has much weight if the reviewer hasn't actually been wearing the watch around for a good amount of time. So I must admit when I heard you say you hadn't even adjusted the bracelet I thought hang on, this one isn't really a full Nick Shabazz review.

I have the ceramic bezel version of this watch, I really love it. It's amazingly accurate gaining only 1 second a day in multiple positions, also got it new for 33% off retail. I know Tag is not popular with the watch snobs but I'm really happy with mine. Size, weight, look & Lume all perfect!

I have the newer version of this and I love it! Solid feeling watch , fit and finish are amazing. Every time I look at it throught the day I'm blown away by how the light catches the dial and polished areas

Absolutely awesome review and spot on in my opinion. I bought this watch new 700 dollars less than retail because it just looks classy. I mean I am not going to be rough with it because it’s to pretty and unfortunately just doesn’t look like it will handle as much abuse as my Invicta. It’s a beautiful watch.

I notice that there are several comments about who Nick sounds like, so I will chime in too. To me he sounds a lot like Bugs Bunny. That's not a put down. I think Bugs is funny as hell. As is Nick. I love listening to his reviews. As for the watch, I think it's one of Tag's better looking watches. Very well made, sleek and trim, but still very substantial. A lot of divers are bulky and flashy. This watch could be used as a dive watch if you want, but could also be used as a dress watch if you wanted to go that route. I'm sure most owners of this watch probably use it as a dress piece instead of a diver. Very useful. And 300 meters of w/r. Cool. I have had the white dial version of this watch for almost 2 years, and it is everything I could ask for. Thanks for a great review. You covered all the bases.

Bought 3 days ago. I'm quite happy, look well done and solid. Surely, as any Tag i owned, i did not pay the retail price but got an honest, good, 50%. By the way, i think movement is a Sellita, isn't it? Mine is a bit different as i have the yellow arrow in the second hand and a different layout of the diciture Calibre 5 - 300m - 1000Ft (in yellow too). Someone knows if is a new model or if the one in the video is newer than mine ?

I’d say Tag, much better looking in my opinion, they both have comparable quality movements so, try them on and decide with the heart and not with the brain because you will end up regretting the purchase

Resale not an issue for someone who is not a flipper. Everything loses value other than maybe Rolex. Omega seamaster goes for around 4500 new and can buy used for 2900 so whats the difference. Buy it if you like it. Can get 30 to 40% off retail all day long. I just paid 1600.00 for a new 43mm black ceramic bezel calibre 5. Retail is 2700.00

$1,550 for a quartz version seems VERY high to me. Honestly, it seems like this watch should be about $1,200 and the quartz should be maybe $800 or so.

I bought a rolex datejust 2 years ago. However, I felt uncomfortable wearing it in many public places. I realized it was a watch that was implying "hey, I am a rich person, look at me" and every rich person that wanted to show off their wealth had one. I wanted a watch that was luxurious, special, and looked beautiful and inspiring. Thats why I bought a Tag heuer formula 1. Yes Tag heuer has many ugly or overpriced watches, but they also have beautiful, quality, and special watches, which any luxury watch enthusiast would notice and appreciate.

I never bother to look at the tag range because I’ve not seen any I like but I have to say that I do like the look of this one although there are so many more attractive and cheaper options with the same specifications on offer. Tag just don’t seem to quite hit the mark.

Not a huge tag fan but it’s a decent entry level watch. Formula one is the best bang per buck for tag though Are you sure tag is still using ETA aren’t they using Eta clones?

With all the features offered in quartz watches by Japanese brands for well under $1k, I don't know how stuff like this sells at all. People want value (or just features) go with Casio, Seiko, or Citizen. People who want a shiny status symbol don't buy quartz.
