James, as of late I rarely comment on most places. - Great points and inspiration. Just two things a) Aren't you expecting too much from a tailor? Or are these heroic-level tailor? b) At times I feel like you're stressing clothing as something to show who you are and to whom you belong... what about something that tend to bond us all together?

You're absolutely right. I suppose we're exploring all the possible roles a tailor could play in these communities. A specific one might not do them all, or do them all well. In a story it might be interesting to see a tailor struggling to meet all these requests coming in and then how they work through those challenges. As for clothing representing yourself or bonding you, that's a valid point too. To be honest, I had about 45 minutes of material on this one that I cut down to the 15 you're left with. There's just too much to say on the topic. I could have gone full on about how clothing and culture entwine, or about the politics of plastic. I hope what people get from the episode is questions that prompt more thinking. Even if that thinking is critical of my takes, it helps us all see the future a little bit clearer.
