The army and intelligence realises his assassination would turn him into a role model as big as jinnah.

We are glad to see Prof Pervez Hoodbhoy, Professor Ishtiaq Ahmed, and many others criticizing the Two-Nation Theory, questioning the partition of India, and exposing Jinnah. In India, intellectuals and professors are also lambasting Gandhi. However, the credit for initiating this discourse goes to author Nasim Yousaf. He was the first writer to expose Jinnah and Gandhi's dirty politics in his two separate books on Allama Mashriqi and Jinnah (published in 2007) and Allama Mashriqi and Gandhi (published in 2013). He criticized Jinnah and Gandhi’s politics, the partition of India, and the Two-Nation Theory long before professors, intellectuals, and the public started to question them. There was a time when Jinnah and Gandhi were heroes, but the situation has fast changed, and people with political acumen do not consider them heroes, rather tools in the hands of the British. According to author Nasim Yousaf, "It has been established that Jinnah and Gandhi helped the British in partitioning India. Moreover, Pakistan was created by the British and not by Jinnah. Under these circumstances, writing more books supporting Jinnah and Gandhi and their politics is not a good use of time. It is now necessary to write more about how Jinnah and Gandhi helped the British to divide India. Why did Allama Mashriqi refuse to support Jinnah and Gandhi? People need to know this interesting and eye-opening information. Such a book would be in great demand and read by a large number of people." Views & News Channel, April 21, 2023

Unfortunately, Talibanisation is increasing amongst Indian Muslims, aided and abetted by Pakistan and other Islamist Elements, including their supporters in certain political parties.

Hope in civil society is unfortunately misplaced, Indian democracy has given rise to ugly manipulative politics and a hateful divisive nationalist media.

Whenever I hear Prof.Hoodbhoi I always think what a misfortune that he was born on the wrong side of the border! In India he would have been respected and honoured as one of our pre-eminent scientists and thinkers.

i have been watching him ever since you tube came into being. Watching this in 2021 covid era. Pak govt is now debating in parliament whether to expel France ambassador or not. PAK will be taken over by the religious extremists in the next 10 years and that is a real problem for the world. West does not understand the seriousness of this threat.
