I think you should incorporate mouth-covering masks into your more talky characters or scenes. Helps with the feeling of Uncanny Valley whenever a character's mouth doesn't match up with their words.

Kinda figured the story was going in another direction. A good "For Instance" is that they aren't necromancers... so they might have a potion to raise the dead.... but they don't have the magic to CONTROL the dead. See the possible predicament? Comedy ensues. And you don't have to fit an undead Gryphon into future plot lines. I like the Neverending Story as much as the next man, but it's a more troublesome and less funny outcome.
