Yeah, plus you'd think these people would be against braces of all things since a good portion of the time it's done for cosmetic reasons (not always of course but its a driving factor for a lot of people.) Braces change the entire structure of your face (thats just how braces work) and unless you get them at a young age will need to constantly wear a retainer so the structure won't shift back. They argue that life changing gender affirming surgeries that often end with positive health benefits for the person is "mutilating the body that god gave them" while not even acknowledging that braces, glasses, and hell even circumcised can all fall under that vague-ass definition of "mutilation" if you really wanted to argue. Like I've heard people compared mtf surgeries disgustingly as a "wound thats constantly trying to heal" (which really isnt accurate) when that could almost exactly describe having braces
