Holland deserves a lot of credit for moving Barrie when he was quarterbacking the best PP in the history of the game..A lot of people were stunned 😳 But Holland knew Bouchard was ready for the added pressure 👊A ballsy move indeed But a move Holland knew would pan out. Lets GO OILERS GO✌️

Edmontons powerplay being the best ever in NHL history, considering the era we're in compared to the past, it's not talked about enough. And having probably the most skilled player to ever play the game is the obvious factor.

I said before the season even started that they should trade Barrie and let Bouchard take over, and run with it even if he struggles initially. So satisfying to see them do it and it working out even better than I expected. And to get Ekholm on top of that addition by subtraction is just chef's kiss. It's like an actual perfect roster move. Gotta give Holland a lot of credit for nailing this one.

The Oilers have spoiled me. It's hard to watch average or even good powerplays because they look so disorientated compared to the Oilers because of how efficient and automatic it has been. How Hyman has changed net-front play, how Bouchard, Nuge and Barrie toy with opposition's forwards, and if a mistake is made McDavid and Draisaitl's raw talent can usually make up for it.

@@grandcrowdadforde6127 nah have to run 7 because neither Vinny or Broberg are ready for a full spot. They both have good nights and they both have bad nights. The beauty of running 7 is you can bench one of them if they are playing poorly as we saw in game 4. Imagine if you only had 6 D, Broberg starts choking and now your down to 5 double shifting Nurse and Ekholm. Nah take the 7 D and give Drai/Mcdavid one extra shift each per period.
