This cinema talk reminds me of when me and a friend went onto the wiki and searched out favourite series on there to see what might come up. We discovered that Sonic the Hedgehog was mentioned in a story set 2 years before Sonic the Hedgehog first came out. That might sound pretty small but then we thought about it. If he did debut in 1989 instead of 1991, we probably wouldn't have gotten the 15th anniversary game in 2006 as those consoles were not around in 2004.

I need to know if there's an explanation to what I've dubbed the Water Paradox, where the Ice Warriors don't seem to exist when the Doctor travels to Bowie Base 1, and yet did exist in the episodes cold War and up to the late 1990s...so what happened?

Time cracks. Since the 11th doctor mentions them affecting the memories of people during the Next Doctor episode in the angel's two parter then that could also have removed the ice warriors of the 21st century for the duration of that story.

The Ice Warriors left Mars and became a spacefaring people, either because of the Flood, or an ecological disaster akin to climate change, or both. Presumably, they moved back there in Seeds of Death, which I believe is the only story that actually shows Ice Warriors living on Mars.

@@tarponpet No it isn't. The one on the cover is a new design from Big Finish. The Cyberman is also one of two from Mondas. As explained in the Old Friends boxset two-parter - Way of the Burryman and the Fourth Generation.

Does every "face" of the Doctor already exist in the whoniverse as a separate person? I mean, almost certainly yes, but have we met them all already? At least half of them appeared in the show itself, so i'm sure the comics/books/audio have the rest.

Interestingly no! Aside from the 5th Doctor looking a little bit like the actor Peter Davison (and other 4th wall breaks) the EU doesn't really do this, which sucks as its a great idea for a segment and I'd love to see characters who just look like 4 and 9 around the place.
