Tasty potato wedges made from russet potatoes, seasoned with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Ingredients:
500 grams medium-sized potatoes, thoroughly washed
For boiling:
2 liters boiling water
1 tablespoon salt
Coating Mixture:
1 cup flour
1/3 cup cornstarch
1 teaspoon each of: Salt, Onion powder, Garlic powder, Red chili powder, Paprika, Cumin, Oregano
1/3 cup hot liquid hot sauce or Sriracha
1 cup water
Abundant oil for frying
Instructions:
Scrub the potatoes, cut them into wedge shapes.
Boil the potatoes in salted boiling water for eight minutes, then drain and set aside.
In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients for the coating mixture.
Dip the potato pieces into the mixture, then fry them in hot oil until crispy and golden (about four minutes).
